QUOTE(kevintyb2005 @ Jan 14 2009, 12:19 AM) Thx for the comments. Most of the photos were directly out of camera. Even the size is remain 16:9 (lazy to crop ) . But got few photos add more contrast & pin hole effect. The LX3 really done a excellent job.....even my dslr friends get poison . You can check the setting on my flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/26547911@N05/ Added on January 14, 2009, 12:24 amShare some tips with u guys..... upload photos to flickr, it will fine-tune the photos for u (eg sharpen, contrast). The photo show in flickr is 30% nicer than original....... haha ehh, how to do the Mat Salleh photo with 4 corner darker

QUOTE(jimlim007 @ Jan 14 2009, 09:10 PM) ehh, how to do the Mat Salleh photo with 4 corner darker The LX3 can actually do it by itself. You just need to set it to SCN, and select the "Pin Hole" mode to shoot photos with that kind of effects. Cool huh>?

don't think long-long...just go and get it...haha people say this camera is the (other) "son of leica m8"... but i must say the color tone straight from camera using jpeg is not nice (blue=cyan-ish and red=magenta-ish), i dunno maybe it's just me...that's why you see a lot of people prefer to shoot b&w with this camera...i shoot in raw and process in lightroom... Added on February 5, 2009, 9:06 pm can't wait to shoot thaipusam with this camera... This post has been edited by aaeem: Feb 5 2009, 09:06 PM

i heard panasonic discontinued the production of this camera despite the high demands and diminishing supply worldwide...it's probably due to the economy though...

The butterflies were quite tame. So they are not scared of humans basically. And I think they were quite busy eating nectar at that time. hahaha...
