Based on my experience, using GPS for a prolonged period won't have your device heating up... It only heats up due to the resistance it faces while charging the battery... laugh.gif

Quite common even when I'm charging and talking on the phone, the face can get a burn mark... ohmy.gif Ouch...
*
burn marked? then hows ur face now? hehehehe... just kidding.. biggrin.gif

It mentioned connectiona not set something like that 1... But dunno why my credit keep on decrease.... Weird.... >.<

1 more issue here.... My phone always show got new voicemail but when i clicked, it always asked me to key in the voicemail number... I put in 121 but it failed and the status always show at the Today there with an icon looks like a spec... >.<
*
sometimes receiving or sending mms also charge as data rate (data transfer); weather update also one of the reason (try to uncheck the auto update for weather); i think there is a software can solve ur problem, but forgotten the name already (same issue discussed before in other lyn thread), try to ask the expects in lyn... tongue.gif

hello. nobody here bought this phone at sungei wang? i went there last week, nearly most of the store there sell HD. Im not a serious buyer yet, so tat i dont ask. lol. the price state there abt 3300 per unit. izzit dangerous to buy there at sungei wang? as most people wud say, its the centre of the clone phone colony.

Going to get this pda by next month...ho yeah.  wub.gif any recommended store?
*
i dun think they can "clone" HD in SW. since it is a new pda and under sis warranty. unless u brought the ap set and the model is available in the market more than 1/2 or a year..
where give u cheapest rate and it is sis unit, then jus go ahead

p/s: there r some forumers r selling hd with reasonable price, check it out bro!

QUOTE(adyalisme @ Dec 31 2008, 10:28 AM)
hurm.. i am also wondering why my credit is depleting so sudden.. Is it because of the auto connect to internet.. these are my settings:

In Start/Settings/ Connections:

1) in advance network:
-HSDPA - Disable
-SMS service - SMS over :GSM only

2) in Comm manager
-Data connection - off

3)in connections
-advance/select networks - all set to my work network

I dun think there's anything wrong with this settings. However, I noticed that in the HD Tweak Program, under root number 6, there are settings for DATA(GPRS/EGDE/HSDPA)

As I use digi, i now set as below:

6.1 Disconnect after : 10 seconds
6.2 Always on Digi MMS :Disable
6.3 Always on Digi GPRS : Disable
6.4 Always on Digi Internet : Disable
6.5 Enable Digi MMS : Enable (sumtimes I use it)
6.6 Enable Digi GPRS : Disable
Enable Digi Internet : Disable

I am giving this setting a try and monitor my credit balance. Hope that it works.

NOTE : Whenever i have to use internet, thru telco provider, I have to change these settings again.. Which is not frequently use.

u means d-pad?

D-pads appear on a number of menu-driven devices as a simple navigational tool; though superficially similar to those used for gaming devices, they are not optimized for real-time control and therefore can usually accept input from only one direction at a time. Many, though not all, such designs include a trigger button in the center of the button arrangement, usually labeled "Enter", "OK", or the like.

D-pad also work as general input devices similar to a joystick or mouse in pda. Less-sophisticated designs similar to those on remote controls appear on some calculators, particularly scientific and graphing calculators, which use the d-pad for cursor control on multi-line screens, as well as input/output recall, menu navigation, and occasionally direct screen access (graphing calculators in particular allow the use of the d-pad to determine values at specific points on a displayed graph). On programmable units, the d-pad can also be mapped directly, allowing it to be used as a gaming or cursor control.

once you connected your phone via usb to your laptop, go programs -> internet sharing. u can connect to the internet via your phone and it will act like modem for your laptop to access to the internet.
*
bro, need to activate the internet sharing first before connect to pc via usb cable.

Here a noob questions..
1) Does it have light function like SE K750i?
2) Can it view avi/mpg movie?
ya, u can view movie in ur pda (applicable to most of the wm users) by using the right software e.g. coreplayer or u can use converter to convert ur file type to the one can support by wmp. blush.gif
