Q and A BACKUP HARDISK, need some answers over here.............

my pc is affected by some kind of virus, i've alrdy posted my problem somewhere in this forum, and i was told there is no hope to fix it, so i wanted to FORMAT my pc..

since i've dled a lot of movies and songs, and some games inside my pc, so i wanted to backup my hardisk before format it.....

erm..question here is, is there any way to backup my stuff in hardisk if i cant access into window and move by external hardisk or pendrive??

anyway thx for your attention....

Try to do a Windows repair first hopefully can enter Windows mode.

erm..if i want to repair or format, i wonder what CD to use...

i got a CD came together with my motherboard, is that working...??

if not, then i have to buy the CD?? i used to be formatting my pc by myself, but something happened and i could not done the formating....

it's damn annoying me..zz...bad luck..

Th easiest way to back-up is to put the HDD into another computer and do back-up there.

sorry for my noobness..so now i need 2 pc to do backup right?

just plug yr HDD to another com...
den using the other com to access yr HDD n copy everything out

1 cpu can load 2 hdd together??

if not after i copy then where can i paste?

Number of hdd can be stuffed at a time didn't have anything to do with CPU count, it's the hdd controller on the motherboard that count. You can plug-in as many hdd as you want as long as there's an unused controller available (and enough power for it)...

You dont much about computers do you?

Yes you can have more then one HDD in a computer, and yes you can "load" more then one hdd in a computer at any given time.

U just use another computer to access your computer hdd by swapping out of hdd in your computer and then putting in another computer with a hdd and windows inside. Then you can see your hdd unless you got some hardware error in your hdd, if just infected with virus then should be no prob reading the data from your hdd.

obviously i dont... sweat.gif about HDD...

i think i can understand what were you trying to tell me, but the problem is, when i move my HDD to another computer, then i have to install the cables onto the computer's mobo and psu ??

i think i got not enough skill to install the cable into PSU..... doh.gif cry.gif
