I was thinking like hanging the mic at the side of the headphone, can't know for sure will it work, but meh it's cheap and I'll risk it.
I'll try to buy from the web and if it arrives then you pay me.

Yay! Awesome! thumbup.gif

Thanks so much bro. PM me when it arrives and we will do COD or something.

I am not sure how the EVO sides are.

but i am pretty sure the HD 669 which i show in my vid can hook it pretty easily and when i wear the headphone it was secured.

But for headphones with large surfaces without any hinges on the side like my Ath-A700, there is no where to hook it. so i am gonna do some diy with double sided tape, velcro etc to see how i can secure it. will post once i figure it out.

Oh just to let you know. the cable is only about 4ft long. kind of short as i prefer more than 6ft. But if your pc is within reach should not b a problem. because some people like to place their pc like under the table or far away.
*
Hmmm, alright noted. Thanks for the heads up. But I think I can hook on the thin plastic extender between the earphone and the top support arch. But worse cones to worse, since my ear cups are huge, I'll just wear it on my ear underneath it. You let us know as to your progress with the A700. rclxms.gif

And no worries, my PC will ge right beside me so 4ft is enough.

Hmmmm, looks like a damned good plan to me. Probably going to do the exact same thing as you did. But have you tested it where you shook your head and see if it remains attached?

And Thanks bro for showing us all this!

For those with headphones that has a removable cable, the best mic to get is probably the Vmoda boompro mic - http://v-moda.com/boompro-microphone/

Currently using it with my Fidelio X1. Once again, why pay for gaming headsets? biggrin.gif
*
Unfortunately my Sennheiser HD558s have their own proprietary 2.5mm removable jacks, so I don't think the Boom Pro works on my headset. Thanks for the recommendation though. But a bit expensive at $30USD.

On my HD558, I used to just clip the DX lapel mic onto its cable and call it a day - http://dx.com/p/mini-clip-on-microphone-7080

If you have read the last few pages you would have noticed that I have indeed already ordered a Mic from DX as well through Yagami5159, pending shipment arrival and COD. biggrin.gif

Anyway, it says 7 business day, probably will arrive next next week or smth.

Dude, you've been in LYN longer than me. Hahahahaha. tongue.gif

Basically you just use two brackets, which is [ ]

And put a @ with the person's name inside the bracket like for example @Yagami5159, and you're done.

Alrighty. PM me when it arrives. rclxms.gif

I'd rather buy a Beyerdynamic Custom ONE Pro plus the Mic cable for MILES BETTER sound and cheaper. But I guess for wireless gaming headsets your have to go with the Astros.

by reading pages on this thread..it made me wonder, maybe i should invest in a headset made by audio specialist like audio technika, bayerdymanic etc...

any sugesstion?

thank you

You can take a look at the Sennheiser gaming headsets since you're willing to pay for the A50, which puts you in Sennheiser's price bracket. You can take a look at the Skullcandy PLYR 1 or Beyerdynamic Custom ONE Pro as well. But not much wireless options unfortunately. sad.gif

but good headphone came with wire.

Can't seem to find it locally , but this standalone H Model sounds right up your alley.

If you don't mind shipping cost then this Steelseries looks real good.
Don't confuse it with the 5H and 7H models though.

yeah man, dont want to risk it also... RM1k went to drain if not to personal liking...
i see at heavyarm fb page.. he got a few for walk in.. sadly im in ipoh.. so, kenot try 1st...  cry.gif

waiting for an ipoh base seller (gamers guild gamestore) to stock it up next week.. then only can try and made up my mind either A50 or SS H wireless..
thumbup.gif  yeah i guess so, but it is personal issue... its like astro A50, somebody loathe it, somebody swears by it.... hehehehe..
edit: yeah... about turtlebeach... hhmmm.... sound wise is good... but build quality scares me.. been visiting sennheiser webpage since yesterday...  drool.gif
and also kept watching CES 2014 on youtube.. smile.gif

thanks to SSJBen... now i am drooling for this RS220.. but dayyum... USD499... ffffuuuuu...
http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-RS-220-He...k/dp/B006ZNX81E

i ilke:
wireless, multiple source, no mic.. but mic is my least concern.. i rarely on chat anyway.. and the charger and headphone stand is like my chimaera.. no extra charging cable (like TB, Sony Pulse, A50)  drool.gif
*
Yeah better not drop 1K unless you've tried ir first, despite how good the specs sheet is.

But if you want any Sennheiser headphones I ada jual. But Kena Buat shipping lah. Can order the cheaper RS170/RS180 if the RS220 is too high for you.

i agree with this statement. im using superlux hd660, it really does lack in bass but the vocal clarity is really good for its price. good for watching movies and music. if u really want to feel bomb exploding next to u, i suggest u try Rosewill RHTS-8206 @ rm199, this headset comes with a built-in amp and vibration motors, which makes the headset significantly heavier but provides very strong bass.

So comfortable you dont notice it on your head after a while and even running out of a puny Xonar U3 from my laptop still is the best headphone ive ever heard..Jumping from Roccat Kave to this is mind blowing..some songs keep giving me goosebumps  cool.gif

Once I get the amp and this baby is burned in I wonder how it will sound..

Okay. STAHP. NO MORE. Please don't torture my last bits of self control. Hahaha.

But yeah, once you pair it with a good amp anything less wouldn't do anymore. thumbup.gif
