how about the battery life ? Moderate usage like Sms , make a few calls which last around 5 to 10 mins each, capturing few images, and some mp3 session. I am pissed off by the N96 BL-5F, which doesn't last for one full day with moderate use.

It is not possible for you to claim warranty at oz, because the " authorized retailer for nokia in Malaysia " is Avaxx or Zitron. In other country they have their own distributors, so when you bring your phone over , it just like a " water set "

most probably will get it by next week , stil waiting for the set arrive at the shop , but i see everyone is satisfied with their new toy ya..

i dont think they provide such services. Rare case for lemon set but there is still chances though.

yeah , gotcha mine today , RM 2250 Avaxx set.
Tried Garmin but seems the version is not compatible as some of the touchscreen function is not working.
Bluetooth connectivity is not stable when pairing the file transfer with N95 8GB.
Will try it later as charging the phone now

Hm.. okay , for your information, you can get the phone at wangsa maju carrefour , the phone booth is just located in front dunkin donut ( food court area ) , you'll find two booth over there, the one is just located right beside the escalator.
By the way i think you'll need to place an order for it as they doesn't have ready stock, they get it from Avaxx directly so that's why the price was cheaper.

usually newly launched phone is like this lah, especially flagship from nokia, if not sure about the price , browse thru few more shop to confirm the price. There are always people who want to do a ONE-SHOT dealing. Which is slowly killing their business in time..

yeah , i agree for the satelite lock in period take quite sometime and it keep losing signal although with AGPS.
For the speaker , i dont think firmware update will help much .

This is because of if the screen turned off after 60 Sec, you use the side unlock button the screen will on but without the backlight , if you dont lock the screen, just use the menu button will on back the screen. Normally if this happen you will need to slide the side button 3 times to on the backlight.

Yeap , i do admit this phone is buggy but all these while nokia does not disappoint us with their firmware update with the bug fixing , not to mention that they does improve alot in each firmware update, this is my personal experience with them for over 10 years since their successful 3210
