First I can't get any updates.

Now my whole homescreen screwed up and refuses to respond.

Why am I the only one who is not getting any firmware updates? Sigh/

Maybe snakevenom can share with us in detail what steps he took to update his phone? Perhaps we missed something.

I'm so fed up.

My phone crashed 4 times today and I had to hard-reset them and go through the trouble of restoring the backups.

If Nokia is still not giving me a firmware update I'll just sell the phone off.

Because I have to work. And they don't take in any phones after 6.

Updated my firmware (FINALLY).

It did for me.

Just restart your phone. Remove the apps then add it back.

Log in. Then upload. Make sure you're connected to 3G, not WiFi.

The phone does not search the entire phonebook to match the numbers.

The phone only registers the last or first 4 or 5 numbers.

There are chances that these will be registered as "duplicated" contacts.

It's not Nokia's problem. All phones are manufactured like that.

Is it just me today or is my Facebook in N97 not getting any news feeds?

Everything else is working fine except for the news feeds. It says "No new stories to display"

It was still working fine before I went to sleep at 4am. When I woke up this morning it became like that.

Anyone here who leaves their 3G connection turned on 24 hours a day?

Apparently the phone-rebooting problem whenever you're on 3G is still not solved, although it has been occurring less now that I've updated to v11.

I'm running v11 and my phone still reboots from time to time when I'm running on 3G (which I do 24 hours a day).

Apparently they said the problem can be solved by changing the Sim card. So I shall try.

Are you using 3G unlimited?

I love this phone, the only problem I have is the "rebooting when on 3G" issue, where a lot of other users are facing the same problem. Other than that, brilliant.
