QUOTE(adrian7386 @ Jun 11 2009, 11:31 PM) so u encourage me to buy at oz??i just found out the retail price in oz which is aud1399 convert with the rate (2.873)...you do the math... so damn expensive...so what to do now...haizzz No one should encourage you to do anything because it's your choice in the end of the day. You either choose to pay more with warranty provided in Australia or you choose to pay less and be prepared to face the consequences when anything happens to the phone. It's like choosing between AP set and Original set.

QUOTE(faizalmzain @ Jun 12 2009, 12:45 AM) actually AP set is not too bad afterall.. i bought 5800XM AP set and the motherboard went kaput.. i don't pay single cent for the repair.. basically i got a new phone except for the casing. but i have to wait for almost 2 months yes timeline is 1 problem. Another problem is that you can never be sure what Unauthorized company will do to your phone. I've heard of too many complaints about AP companies switching inner parts when people send for warranty and it's very difficult to check for normal users. Buying original set is like buying insurance. You pay more and at the same time you feel more secured, less paranoid with it. Do you think Zitron or Avaxx would risk stuff like this with their reputation? That's why you pay more!

QUOTE(tunertoobe @ Jun 12 2009, 01:04 AM) OIC. Then it must've been other products that I see with International warranty. But buying it here will save you a lot. I can't really be sure but hardware failure for a phone and company of this calibre is rare, and software fixes at Aussie NCC shouldn't cost a bomb. Just hope the phone stays intact over there. Dunno if the 1.4k saved(~AUD500) would cover a lot of the repair cost you might face over there. Yep I agree with that.

hey snakevenom just a suggestion for ya, maybe use spoiler tag for most of the spec and description part? because i think those infos are too long winded and not really useful when ppl really need to know more bout this phone

For those who use the widgets, do you guys have to update the data manually or do the them update themselves? I find it quite troublesome to have to refresh the data for AccWeather whenever I want to have some info regarding it.

QUOTE(nubnub75 @ Jun 16 2009, 01:44 AM) yeah but if for the same price you can get more, why not? Do you seriously think you deserve to get more with the price you're paying? Which one would you prefer? A n97 with 16GB mmc for RM2999 or one without mmc for rm2480? The maths is easy to be done. I was happy enough to know the phone pricing at rm2480 when I actually expected it to be past RM3000. Never have I thought of asking for more because i know it's a steal already at that given price. How many of you asking for the 16gb mmc actually need it? I really wonder. It's harder than you think to make full use of the provided 32gb internal memory
