Goodreader does it better. No need to install any desktop program. It enables a http file server service on your ipod touch over wifi. USB file transfer also available. Just open your web browser and point it to the ip address of your ipod touch to upload files. Support for huge pdf files and even other file types as well. Lots of other kickass features which I won't mention here.
