FileAid (6.99, FREE for a short time) - Upload and download files to/from iPod touch through wifi or USB. That's right, works with USB if you have DiskAid installed on your PC. Ridiculously simple to use with Windows PC. Files/doc can be listed in alphabetical order, date, file type & by folder.

AirSharing (4.99) - Upload and download files to/from iPod touch through wifi only. Can use Bonjour.

Fast Add (free) - To quickly enter a name and phone number. Faster and more intuitive than iPod's own Contacts, which is tedious.

Free Memory (0.99)- To free up to 20mb of RAM. I also use it to check battery level.

AppSniper (0.99) - Snipe cheap/free apps

DianHua & Qingwen (free) - Chinese-->English dictionary, but can search english words too.

PowerWord (free) - English-->Chinese dictionary. Can pronouce some more. (as good as or better than those electronic dictionaries, which can cost between 500-1000)

Certain new apps need iPod software 2.2.1. I've heard many horror stories about after updating, iPod touch can't start and what not.
Has anyone updated to 2.2.1 yet?

Works fine with Mac also. It's just that I don't have a Mac with me right now to verify it's ease of use.

No need. You can use iPod's original Stocks to check.

It takes the data from Yahoo! Finance. So here's how:
1. Go to any website (I prefer biz.thestar.com.my) to find out the stock code.
2. Then in the add page of the app, type in the stock code followed by " .KL "

Example:
YTL Power Warrant B's stock code = 6742WB
you type this in the app = 6742WB.KL
Works 95% of the time.

Or you can also Bloomberg app. I prefer Bloomberg app, because there are slightly more functions and looks better.

1. At the bottom tab, select 'My Stocks'.
2. Click 'Edit'
3. Click '+'
4. Search company name. Bloomberg uses its own code, so you have to search either from the app, or from Bloomberg's website.
* I can only find stock, I can't find the warrants.

Added on March 22, 2009, 11:00 pmIf you can afford paid apps, i still recommend File Aid over Air Sharing (I have both). FileAid can file transfer via USB (requires DiskAid and iTunes).
And it's easier to connect from a computer to File Aid via wifi. Just type in the FTP address and transfer. No need no configuration (in Windows), unlike Air Sharing.
And the tutorial on how to connect is built-in the app. No worries about forgetting how to connect.

Heavy Mach [2.99-->0.99] - It's on SALE. If you like Metal Slug, you might like it.
Gym Buddy [4.99] - For gym goers to track their workout... with built-in timer, can create multiple workouts, history, and data export to email (then to Excel).
iMail - compose mail and save as drafts in the app. Can use horizontal layout. I also use it as a note taker.

Crazy Tank - Lite version, will buy the full version soon.
Fastlane lite
Tissue - how many tissue papers can you flick in 30 seconds?
GeoDefense - Cannot play because have not updated to 2.2.1 firmware =P
Instapaper - Read websites offline. Will considering paying 9.99 for full version when I eventually feel charitable towards the owner.
IOUUOI - to track how much I owe my friends money/things. Or rather, how much they owe me. X^D

Yalah, so d@mn sad. I just let the standing instruction run itself. Maybe 5, 10 years later it'll turn into something worthwhile.
