it looks like a hardware (battery) problem to me. however if you believe that your unit is relatively new and therefore should not be subjected to this; perhaps a clean restore (do not restore from backup - set up as a new phone), will eliminate the possibilities of a software malfunction.


or alternatively, you can opt to replace the battery. read post 18
