I was thinking of getting a Debit Card from AmBank to send funds to my paypal account.

Here are my questions:-

1. Is the card only available in 7-11 and AmBank's branch?

2. How do i top up to send the money over to my paypal?


3. What if i were to withdraw my money from paypal?

4. What is the minimum ammount of money i must send to my paypal when topping up?

5. Any other alternative to this debit card?

1. I got mine from Cineleisure. It has a nice design of a film reel on the front. Included is a voucher for a complimentary movie ticket and much more.
You can go ask for it at the ticketing counter.

3+5. If you have an account with Ambank, you can withdraw your money from paypal into your account. Other bank that provides this type of debit card is maybank.

So there is a debit card for maybank and you can use it for paypal as well?

I heard maybank still cannot use for online transactions.

Most probably, i will be going with Public Bank Visa Electron since i have heard negative remarks over AM bank. You have been a great help for me

oh really? what kind of negative remarks? I know first handedly that their customer service sucks. Once I used up my whole rm 10 prepaid cred just being on queue and hold just to get my 4 pin number.

*After registering from paypal you will need a few days to wait til your card is approved and acquire a certain pin number.
