IF ever i decide to change engine for the '86 saga... what engine is good for? and how much it'll cost?

singchaii your fourth service u done at where? SC or outside? i m thinking to change at SC but dunno wat they ll change for me and this time i have to pay for the labour...

I done at my home. sweat.gif Just service my car yesterday at my workshop. Using hyrax oil now which sponsor by my workshop.

budget... dont know. coz i say if.. they engine currently use-able, just askin out of curiosity, and just in case if it 'fade away' because of its age 22 yrs old engine dy.smile.gif btw how bout d prices? d performance??can get permission from puspakom?

overhaul it den u can use back the engine. if transplant waste money,around 4k-6k for the engine.estimate 2k for the labour and some new parts. and u need get jpj approval also.not cheap also. unsure.gif

which engine??... with a good condition 4g92 sohc, include labour will be approx rm5k plus... if u going for 4g93t gsr (unfortunately needs overhaul), probably set u 3 times more, rm15k or less.....

since ur car so old liao.... if got sign of chassis rust, i suggest u dont go for so powerful engine... ur chassis cannot withstand the stress... furthermore, u will face more trouble with puspakom/jpj...

if u jz looking for minor upgrades with reasonable power to cruise around, overhaul ur engine and change to 1.5 block... do port polish for ur cylinder head... get 1.6 clutch.... tuned length exhaust system and highflow air filter... it will be a good car to drive around....
