QUOTE(layeong @ Dec 29 2008, 12:30 AM)
Can any Iswaras/Sagas owners recommend to me on what type of adjustable suspension is good to get?
I'm thinking bout changing to Hotbits Hi/Low Silver Series or HWL.
Do u guys know how much they cost now?
I currently using Improve Propex Sport short stoke absorber on my 2005 Saga aeroback.
The problem is, the absorber is hard to press down when the car is idle.
But during cornering or U-turn, the body roll is too much and it feels like one side of the tyres is lifted off the road.
1 more question. Can a HI/Low Soft/Hard be fitted on my Saga?
Thanks a lot!
*
HWL should b ok to use.. btw im using improve propex too.. so far i find it ok..
if u have the budget, go for TITAN..

How much? Or what is the model?
HI/LOW only for front?
Adjustable for rear?
*
HWL onli have hi/lo adjustable for the front while the rear ones jus normal short stroke abs..
i dun think there is any aftermarket adjustable rear suspension for saga/iswara.. unless u can custom one..

noise generation i dun care la... as long as dry n wet good... hahaha.... pp2 seems to have good review... but the tread pattern dun seem to be very sporty... still prefer to look at parada spec 2...  laugh.gif
*
of cuz u wont care bout the noise lah.. the noise from ur monster oredi cover the noise from the tyres..
get the one within ur budget lah.. honestly.. personally i would go for pp2 in ur option.. but after i still luv potenza series.. haha

btw did u notice tengku djan uses re-01r while tan tat wei and ivan lau adrenalin re001 altho they are in the same team.. best stuff onli reserved for the best?

re-01r tread pattern...

close to semi-slicks pattern??... rolleyes.gif
*
pp2 should b a good choice of tyre..
bridgestone is expensive but it worth every penny u spend on it.. trust me.. satisfied potenza user here.. hehe

QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 30 2008, 07:47 AM)
Parada Spec 2 wet grip boleh. But not that good.. But bare in mind, during raining you still dare to speed? I try at 110km/h using parada spec and it still acceptable. No hydroplanning/aquaplanning..
Around RM220 like that only.. That tyre as I said, I just tested it.. Mean i just exchange my wheel with them.. Later need to give back. Need to see which tyre is good ma..
For your info, none of 1 tyre can perform superb during wet...
*
parada spec 2 is 1 of the best bang for buck tyre available.. good in dry n acceptable in wet..

rm220 for re001? tats good price tho.. but i thought re001 gonna be replaced by re011?? correct me if im wrong.. hehe

haha... datz why i said must strengthen the chassis as well lor... why not a vr4 inside saga as long as chassis is strengthened properly??... the g-force push u to the back of ur seat is vr intoxicating... couldnt say the same for cornering ability lar.... 4g15 might be able to pwn vr4 in corners....
what u mean??... 4g63 has turbocharged version and NA version... but mostly people install the turbocharged version lah....

slowly learn only go halfcut ler.... car modifications is long term... so fast mod finish ur saga den apa mau buat??... upgrade to evo and start modding again??... if u have the money, go ahead...

what best about modding ur own car up is the knowledge gained in the process.... final result on dyno sheet doesnt really matter much for me.... this is also why my car havent been on a dyno before.... blush.gif
*
when wanna go dyno then? hehe

Michelin PP2 now cost around RM215 for 195/50/15 nowdays if not mistaken.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I can say perfect wet and dry.
Cost a bit more than PP2 around RM235 during July.
But wat I dun like bout the Goodyear is the screeching noise it makes during cornering at multi storey car park (slow) and on during long turn hard conering (roundabout).
Or else it would be the perfect tyre for me. IMHO
*
goodyear is wellknown for its noise generation..

tayar shop only buys in tyres which cater for all street users... such as that stupid NCT5.... vmad.gif
mayb heavier wheels can increase my top speed to 45kmh.... hmm.gif
nope... iswara meter dont have P,R,N,D,2,L indicator....
