well the difference of using a HDMI is it carries both Video and Audio I'm using the converter here and it works just fine

same picture quality if not mistaken..the only difference is HDMI has audio (but who bothers when 1 uses another soundcard )

most lcd do not have speaker rights? those with hdmi port though...

well ATI gpu mostly has build in sound processor in it if not mistaken..actually most of it can..newer 1 of coz ...nvidia cards require another cable to be connected to the mobo to output sound.

yup. u can..well, not sure though but for some driver, once u plug in hdmi..it will auto set the audio out to hdmi if not mistaken.

@him, temps should b quite decent cause my previous 3870 is using it.ooh, the disadvantage is it only cools the core, mem only the 1 in the middles :/
