Type of camera/lens/accesories : DSLR
Budget: Rm2.5k to RM3k
Your Location: Shah Alam
Preferable brand : Canon
Type of photography u want to do : Event, Family, Potrait, Food
Any specific models in mind? : 450D/500D/350D
Any specific features u want? : Thinking of just get the body and buy a good lense separately. Any lense recommendation for beginners or just use the kit lens as start?
Can you suggest where to get the best price? I went to Shong Lee at One U just now. 500D with kit lens+4gb memory card+a bag=RM3300. If buy body only RM2700.
I also asked for battery grip they say special price = RM399.
for starter like me...what would you recommend?..oh do i have to get the flash as well???...

I bought my 500D at midvalley
Rm3299 - 8GB+filter+standards freebies. I also bought original battery grip for RM399 only.
