Hi all,
I'm looking for a prosumer DSLR
Type of camera/lens/accesories : DSLR Budget: 5K include lense Your Location: KL Preferable brand : Nikon & Sony Type of photography u want to do : Landscape & macro & night scene Any specific models in mind? : Nikon D90 & Sony A700 Any specific features u want? : nikon lense 18-200mm & sony lense 18-250mm
Basically my mind is on D90 @ first place, when i m trying to play around with D90 and A700 in the outlet ... A700 was stunning me for the vivid photos and the solid body ... somemore a700 is cheaper than D90 .. =(

QUOTE(DecaPix @ Apr 5 2009, 11:54 PM) sunnyzai, for that range of camera, the sx 110 is quite good. the only competitor is panasonic TZ25 But the panasonic does not have manual control. you can test both and see which one is better for you. @hungry jack..why are you looking at D90 and A700? never consider 40D or 50D? Added on April 6, 2009, 12:03 amQUOTE(hungryJack @ Apr 6 2009, 12:01 AM) 40D or 50D too expensive for me i think ... hmm .. never have thought of Canon actually bro... QUOTE(TheWandererX @ Apr 12 2009, 01:14 PM) If you're really into landscape I don't think a measly 16mm would do - but if you are happy with it then you might wanna consider the Canon EOS 40D too - should be around RM3k for body and if you want a 17-85 it's around RM1.2k+. Which amounts to RM4.2k. Cheap compared to the other two. Forget Sony if you're gonna get serious about photography and the D90 is only your choice if you really want the video, because its specs are almost identical to the 40D without the video. My two cents - you don't necessarily have to listen to what I say. Thanks for ur opinion, will re-consider again ...
