Folks, I am not new to photography, but intend to get a handy, compact camera at a price range of 500+-100. Can anyone recommend a good choice. I understand my current digital camera which is 4 years old is a bit outdated and slow in saving photos and responses. I need a one with fast recharging after flash and quick in saving. And if able to conveniently focus macro photos would be great. LCD size at 2.7" would be okay. Sifu-sifu, pls help.

It is rather bulky in size, I am looking for something slimmer, would Kodak M863 or MX1063 be good?
