Sony T900 is a good camera, but you may want to check out the Panasonic Lumix LX-3. It will around your budget and will perform great indoor and outdoor. The iso performance is superb, and one of the best for its kind. But if you're really fancy for super compact, The Sony T900 would be really great. Nipis maa.. XD



Well, never heard of this "cannot use a lot of lens" thing before. But, the Nikon entry level, D40 and D60 may lack the choices of some lenses since they doesn't have built in focusing motor, but still the choices available is a lot and not to mention the 3rd party one.

For your kinda budget, you may want to check out the semi pro DSLR since you had already knew the basic photography. I would say Canon 40D(RM3000 body only), or the newer 50D if you throw in extra budget (RM4000(body)-4300(body+kitlens). But 40D is already good enough plus you can save the extra money for future upgrade or spent it for a flash gun. Use the kitlens to familiarize first. Then you can buy extra lens if you feel the need for it. (example: If you're really into panoramic, you can buy wide angle lens).

The Sony a700 (RM3200 body only) is worth a look also. It sport a bit higher resolution than the canon 40D and a built in anti-shake facility, but it lack the Live view and the burst speed is somewhat slower (5fps vs 6.5fps). But with a little bit of firmware updrage (to V4). The ISO performance is really GREAT! Some may even consider it to match the Nikon D300 ISO performance. But, the choices of lenses are still limited for the time being as the sony are still in the phase of rebadging the Minolta, Konica Minolta, Tamron lenses. But still, there is a lot to choose from.

The semi pro of Nikon is out of reach for RM4000...the D300 is around 6000+++.. But the D90 is worth a look. They have this video mode. I never play with Nikon D90 before so can't tell you much.

Eihh..sigma 70-200 f2.8 ada la..the 18-200 for sigma is the Sigma 18-200 F3.5-6.3 DC.. no f2.8..

But if got..pekh..for sure layan..
