Any specific models in mind? : Nope (though I can probably get the Canon Ixus 80is with my maybank treat points)
Any specific features u want? : Does not suck too bad at night Vibrant colors and easy to use

I'm looking to buy a camera for general purpose taking and it MUST be small enough to fit easily into a pocket so size is very important but I don't want to sacrifice too much on quality. It also shouldn't be too expensive until I would feel a lot of pain losing it as it will be used quite ruggedly (taking it up to me on my Mount KK climb).

Appreciate suggestions!

Slightly larger models I will consider though frankly when it's too big to put into your pocket comfortably, I usually am too lazy to whip it out
