As both suggested Lumix LX3, I shall check it out. Okay, maybe i over-emphasized on picture quality. I mean, like 10mp is ok already, for me. I need a user friendly one too. Not like some that has too many hidden functions, and I have to take a few months to explore habis.

I've narrowed down my search to ixus 970is 870is and lumix lx3.

Any other suggestions, my fellow LYNs?

Some people prefer style over performance. T series is touchscreen and is more towards entertainment, than serious photography. I got lots of girl friends who have those. Its more of an entertainment gadget. Even the colour scheme suggests that, with the colours varying from red to pink to green and blue
