I might not be much of a help, but who these days don't even own a DVD drive ? Gone are the days of CD-RWs... Your PC either had a DVD drive but it can't function, or perhaps your PC is seriously old, and most likely unable to handle Vista.
Again, there could be other ways to install Vista without its DVD but you can get a DVD drive for just RM60+ ! A DVD burner for just RM80 +

QUOTE(sachinvasudev @ Nov 27 2008, 04:25 PM) you can install xp first into a partition and then install vista in a different partition or upgrade ur xp. you have to copy the vista setup files to your hard disk first tho. my god, save all the trouble TS and get a DVD burner. Can't you just wait until you get one ?

Tsk... tsk... tsk... Couldn't you just wait until you get a DVD drive?? Its not like there is a lack/limited units in the country. You prefer going all the trouble just to get Vista DVD in CD form ? You are (my opinion) wasting so much time and effort... when you could just be installing it in a breeze under 20 minutes and enjoying it.

My bad. I just think it is such a small problem that will be complicated for no reason. Can't get a DVD drive ? Gosh... OK then, the hunt to get Vista in CD form continues.
