Hi there, just to answer some of your questions,
nicKit : Do you still have an acne problem? The reason I'm asking is because, when you have acne, your face tends to go on the reddish side, so what i would suggest for you is, get a correcting concealer and conceal all those red spots first. The colour you should choose is green. I know that you might think...yuck, green?how is that going to conceal? Well green acts as an opposite colour to the red on your face therefore neutralizing your skin colour. Do not cake it on though, just dab on with your finger and tap it in lightly with your ring finger to blend the colour into your skin. After you have finished applying the green correcting concealer, take your normal skin coloured concealer and go over the spots you have covered with the green, this gives you a clean canvas to work on for your foundation.
As for you skin problem, I would suggest using compact/cake/powder foundation as it has a higher absorbency and it would help your face stay matte longer. Keep some pressed powder with you throughout your ceremony so that you can blot your face as the oilies hit the visible layers of your skin. As you mentioned you have acne prone and oily skin, therefore I assume that you do have acne. In this case, avoid anything too shimmery for you face. This is to avoid your face from looking even more oilier and shimmer brings more attention to your acne or acne scars. Feel free to fire questions if you need help

munkeyflo : As for your powder problem, dont take like a whole load of powder and paste it on your face. Loose powder acts as a finisher for your foundation, so what you want to do is take a face/powder brush and dip it lightly into your powder and tap off any excess. Whats left on your brush with a very light hand, brush it into your face in big circular motions. At the same time you will be buffing in your foundation with your loose powder so you have that smooth flawless skin effect.
As for your eyes, maybe a picture of it? so i can give you the best possible method to draw on your liner

hope this helped you gals <3
toodles!
