Hi Guys hope u guys can clear the smoke on my head

1. If i heard iphone can save offline google maps right ? then when i use the google map to check where i am
basically it will tk frm the offline map right? so do i still nit to use my GPRS or wifi to online to get my position ?
or i can use it like garmin ? position me tru offline maps smile.gif

2. Can i turn off my GPRS when i not in use and will it ask before it connect?

3. Does it worth to buy if i sometimes wan to view the map c where i am most of the time listen to song
view picture , write notes , and can i use and stylus to tap on da screen ?

4. How long it takes to lock into the satelite ?

PLEASE HELP TQ

and ...why do i nit to unlock it ? will the warranty be void ?

1. Yeah. Jailbroken, download from Cydia, Offline Map. U still need the GPRS/EDGE/3G/Wifi to route or locate ur location. Garmin? Nope. My myself also wondering if I can route offline. brows.gif

2. Yes. Use Boss Preference from Cydia.

3. I'm not sure but for whatever it is, for me, when iPhone OS 3.0 release, it worth. I think sum1 on lyn selling da stylus for iphone. Check garage sale.

4. Er, what satelite?

Unlock iPhones: Doesn’t have an Service Provider lock (aka factory unlocked) and you are able to put any SIM card into the phone and get service. Meaning, you can use the services of various GSM based carriers around the world. Quote from Maverick.

Correct me if I'm wrong smile.gif
