Hi all,

can we have a list of "good" and "bad" AP supplier?
share some experiences perhaps
because I was thinking of buying new phone but due to financial reason can only afford AP set
however, I heard many horror story about fellow forumer experience with AP set especially regarding warranty claim and after sale services
example: Bad exp with PdaGadgets

thank you.

not the matter of "good" or "bad"...
depend on the fon's problem serious or not...

sometimes if the board problem, even all ap also take longer time to fix it, need to order & find the parts somehow they need to send back to the country to claim.. that's y will longer time...

if small problem could be settled is 1-2 week...

i advise u go for ORI better, piece of mind...  thumbup.gif

if the difference is ~MYR100 I dont mind
but certain ori set are MYR400-500 more expensive...thats quite a number there

I want to know good and bad AP supplier in the sense that how their treat the costumer, are they trying to avoid responsibilities, charge for ridiculous amount of money for "servicing", those kind of thing not just total time taken to repair
I believe that is more important, time is just one aspect of it

so at the end of the day, people can decide which AP set to avoid if we know which companies like to lepas tangan after item has been sold

nowadays Ap & Ori price not really much diff, many just diff less than 100..
u can go for those bigger & realiable AP, got many around... most will cover during the warrnty period unlesss the problem is not under cover then will hav extra charges..

Ap is cheaper because not fully cover, like some LCD, camera most cover for 1 or 3 mth, some 1 yr,  if u compare to ORI they will cover full period.. 1 or 2 yr..

if the company is NEW, then really need to be more becareful, coz anytime will shut down... they u cant claim anymore

yes, you're right
most AP and ori price difference are small
we're talking about nokia, se, htc, samsung

actually I want to buy LG optimus 2x
price ori is MYR1600 while Ap is ~MYR1270
so the price gap is too big
furthermore, this phone known to has problem (random reboot and auto shutdown)
the dual core factor and gaming prospect are simply irresistible..
so I kinda gamble to buy this phone, because some forumer said they got it while other dont
so if I fall into the unlucky one, I hope my warranty can help me to repair/replace the hp (hope it wont happened though)

if u found the fon is OVER CHEAP in market then u also need to be careful.. lolz
stil the same word, if u can take risk & use it properly & good luck enough then would be fine for AP,
i use AP so many year ago, big small problem got but all still can claim..
who knows ori wont hv problem? all depend on ur luck & usage

small diff then go for ori
big diff then go for ap
