My brother have one unit 8 inch active subwoofer with Class D amp inside would like to let go as upgraded to hardcore.
Used for 2months only. Brought in at RM650 and item will come with complete part.

hehe is me that bought the sony subwoofer (item was faulty though when arrived but repaired already...)

Sound quality is pretty nice, better than the nightkids 8"... now using both in my car, can feel the earthquake shaking + massage effect

wah! u bought it? but how come faulty?

no idea, can power on just no sound.... my accessories shop friend helped me to send it for repair, RM80 damage (seller said he will compensate)

the faulty part is a piece of metal though....

The sound quality is quite solid, probably due to the aluminium casing...

can this active subs be connected direct to stock HU which is w/o RCA jacks? Or unless, i need to install a HiLo to stock HU in order to use active sub?

1) Epsilon
2) MBQ

which is better? any other alternative recommendation is most welcome.

buy a proper amp and sub in a good box la, dont waste your money. under seat sub only good for midbass, not sub bass. nothing beats a proper sub.

well, already got a JBL 12". just changed to a compact car. Peugeot 206B
Do not want to put my 12" . My setup no need to hv so "gempak" bass.
Only listen to light & easy songs... (eg: vocal, jazz, pop)

therefore im looking for some active sub/ underseat woofer

any more recomendation?

I am using an MBQ too... definetely not for Bass freaks... If you intend to take your family in the car, this unit suits perfectly...else go for 3000w with monoblock amp...

I saw a guy installing 2 amps..(mono block & 3000w mohican 4 ch) with 2x12" subs boxed up on a Kenari.....OMG... the car was literally jumping when powered up....quite close to glass shattering...

definitely worth for its price..

lucky for u to get a steelmate at that price, not much ppl selling second hand, cause mostly we see ppl selling second hands are brands like mbq , and any other random brand
