QUOTE(y_owez @ Dec 12 2008, 11:49 PM) went pc fair to sign up. they say no more 5gb limit wor? said its unlimited....true ka? Dun get conned? The 5GB limit is still officially mentioned in celcom website. If it's true they have removed this clause, why not update the site accordingly : http://www.celcom.com.my/cep/xresources/ce...band/index.html (Go Fair Usage Policy, Clause No: 5) This post has been edited by richardtham: Dec 13 2008, 12:49 AM |

I just shot an email to celcom here:
My celcom BB line is 013 7288906. I can get connected to the Celcom BB network with 3 bars HSDPA and alwiz allocated this IP 219.93.152.34. The problem is i can't browse many sites although I am connected to the network, meaning I alwiz get "page not found". And I do not think this has anything got to do with the 5GB Fair Usage Policy coz the error msg is simply "page not found". I suspect is your network problem. Pls rectify it |

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Jan 19 2009, 07:48 PM) May I know which area are you from ? Let's see if this is an area thing that is affecting it or rather a nationwide problem. I tested in Nilai, Kajang and Cheras, all same problem ! Can't load this site http://mt.m2day.org/2008/ But my fren using streamyx told me this site no problem loading |

Sick of hearing the same old excuse I HAVE been a Celcom mobile broadband user for some time now and it had never failed to disappoint me every time I come home to Kuala Lumpur from outstation trips, until now. It gets so slow to a point of 1.2 kbs and I am a subscriber for one of the unlimited plans. Numerous complaints had been made to the centre and I was constantly reminded that the service is on a sharing basis. I am perfectly aware of that and I truly understand it. However, if one only gets 1.2 kbs out of 386kbs advertised and sometimes it only comes in Bytes, it’s hardly a fair share, isn’t it? I am paying RM68 per month and I don’t even get half of what I ought to get. With the promotion for Celcom broadband here and there, it’s high time Celcom upgrade the service and stop using the net congestion or sharing excuse for a change because we are tired of hearing it over the phone. WAN MOHD HILMI, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. This post has been edited by richardtham: Feb 9 2009, 05:34 PM |
