Gliderade = U mix with water and let them lick from finger = helps bonding taming. OR u sprinkle a bit to vege. Once every two weeks. nod.gif

Twice to three times per week lah. Not once every two weeks

Yes, still have but if the joey is underage, I highly recommend Wombaroo Milk Replacer. It's much better for joeys than Pets Own

how to feed de cricket to them??  unsure.gif

What most people I know do is cut off the legs and put them in the feeding bowl. This way. the crickets wouldn't be jumping away.

info on glider diet XD =tofu / soy products (Even though tofu has been thought of as the perfect protean you may want to avoid this or use it very limited because of several recent articles which suggest "The facts are stated clearly - soy products in the diet of the studied animals is believed to have harmful effects on the body's digestive and reproductive systems."  Why take the risk of Tofu when there are many other forms of protean.)
Where are these facts stated, if I may ask.

Actually, the feeding of tofu is a highly debatable subject. In the US, some breeders and Caroline MacPherson in her glider book recommends it but some other breeders are against it.

Personally, I think that if you feed a little tofu within the bounds of a balanced diet, then it is ok (not making it as the glider's complete diet) but to each his own.

@ jtl : wombaroo high protein powder. not feeding him HPW diet. .

Then put 2 teaspoons per glider over the fruit daily. You can give the gliderade three times a week. You can either sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon over the fruit or mix with 5 parts water and put in a bowl.

1/ At petshack.com.my there is the HPW starter kit and also the Wombaroo High Protein supp.  Which would be the better choice for my gliders?

2/ I can't seem to find the Wodent Wheel on sale there, other than http://www.sugar-gliders.com/wodent-wheel.htm is there a local store in KL that carries the Wodent Wheel Senior?

3/ Can two gliders run in a Wodent Wheel Senior at the same time?  Or would the Wobust Wheel be a better option?  I have 4 gliders, 2 to a cage.  I plan to purchase 2 wheels, but would prefer that they have enough space for 2 at a time.  Running together could be pretty bonding I guess.

Thanks very much.... Happy New Year 2009!

1. It depends which diet you are on. You can just try the starter kit first unless your glider is pregnant, then its better to get both. If you need, more info, please feel free to PM me.

2. You can find the wheel here: http://www.petshack.com.my/webshaper/store...ProductItem=458

3. I have not seen my gliders running at the same time but you can try getting one senior first and see if they 'fight' for the wheel. Perhaps others who have more gliders can advice better.

Hope this helps

hi everybody..
specially to some breeder here..
thanks for your offer and i finally got a male joey..
very cute ler...hehehehe

can i share some problem here?
well, i just bought a pack of dog biscuit and apple for my joey..
any advice how much to feed and what other food i can feed for this little baby?
*
As jitshiong said, there is a list of food on the first page.

I just wanna add that dog kibble is not a staple diet. Just give one piece per day. Not more than that. Also make sure that the kibble does not contain garlic or onion. Do read the list of ingredients on the packet.

Hello everybody! I'm new here.. I'm planing to rare a pair of sugar glider.. I've done lots of research about sugar glider.. And I found a home breeder who sell baby sugar glider in cheaper price.. because it's cheaper.. I'm worrying I won't get healthy baby sugar glider.. Or I should buy average price one? And the cage and accessories matter.. last night I went to pet safari, I saw the big cage cost RM100.. But is it PVC coated? and I found a website stating that baby sugar glider that is below 6 months is better to have a smaller cage from preventing them falling down from high places.. Is it right or false? Does pet safari sells bonding pouches and the sleeping pouches? or any shops recommend?  Does baby sugar glider needs Wodent Wheels? Because I think they're too young they don't need much exercise..

Every expert here PLEASE give me some advice!! Thank you ^^
*
I am not an expert but can assist you a little. You will need to have a look at the glider to determine the age. There are some pictures on the first page which can help to guide you.

I do not think that the cage that I think you are talking about is PVC coated. To be sure, you should have asked the shop assistant. Yes, I believe that Pet Safari does sell pouches.

It's best that all animals have some form of exercise.

I think they still have cages. It's just that they don't put it on their website anymore. You will need to go collect at their store.
