Just came back, Been out since noon till now..

Set my o9 trading system to queue buy Zelan back again n lucky all orders 30000 unit at 0.76 matched.
I queue low price, didn't follow others chasing the share coz i feel its price will drop back close to its today morning ex-dividen price.

MMC weighing 'options' for Zelan

MMC slumped 17 per cent to RM1.37 and Zelan rose 3.3 per cent to 77.5 sen at the close

MMC Corp, owner of Malaysia’s largest independent power producer, said it is considering “several options” for its 39 per cent-owned Zelan Bhd unit after it was reported that MMC may buy out the business.

MMC, backed by billionaire Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary, may take over Zelan or combine its construction unit, MMC Engineering Bhd, with Zelan in exchange for Zelan shares, a weekly newspaper said on November 22.

“We are considering several options at the moment and will make an announcement at the appropriate time," MMC said in an e-mailed response to Bloomberg News today.

MMC slumped 27 sen, or 17 per cent, to RM1.37, its biggest decline since August 5. MMC was the worst performer on the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index today.

Zelan Bhd rose 2.5 sen, or 3.3 per cent, to 77.5 sen, its biggest advance since November 10. - Bloomberg

I checked with my remiser about Zelan, he told me tat based on MMC selldown today, there's high possiblilty Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary ppl selling off some MMC shares to buys Zelan shares to increase his share ctrl in Zelan. Between Zelan and MMC, he told me MMC now more attractive to buy in stages or wait till it drop another 10-20 sen. Since MMC drop quite sharp, there might be some technical rebound in short term. Zelan price drop but still close to its ex-dividen price today which is not too bad, can buy when low n sell if it start to climb back again. Need to monitor these 2 counters closely.

If you want to buy Citigroup shares, go open OSK acct and sign another document for oversea trading den can buy liao.

Wow.. MMCCorp shoot higher than Zelan as wat my remiser predicted.
I grab Zelan another 34000 unit this morning at 0.795 average up yesterday 0.76.
Not bad.. it shoot up to 0.81!!

Already offload all at 0.80 when see selling pressure comes.
Thx Zelan made few Ks ady.

Hope others tat buying Zelan also make money.

Yup, Dow fly yesterday, so quite confident can play Zelan abit when klse start early morning.
I queue at 0.78 this morning but it shoot fast, see its buying queue is strong then only i grab at 0.795.

Just now i see alot buying vol at 0.80.. wow. now it start to go up gain..!

What i know is theres strong support at this counter but got strong ppl selling down its price also.

Now its going up again... i sold 64000 unit at 0.80 just now ady. Later if drop maybe will grab some ...

Buy at price suitable for your own risk and remember to take profit if see buying queue less lioa n selling queue increase alot!

MMC mulling options for Zelan

MMC Corp (2194) , Malaysia's largest port operator, said it is considering several "options" for its Zelan Bhd unit after it was reported that MMC may buy out the construction company. MMC stock headed for a 21/2-year low.

"We are considering several options at the moment and will make an announcement at an appropriate time," MMC said in an e-mailed response to Bloomberg News yesterday.

MMC tumbled as much as 17 per cent in local trading as investors doubted the merits of buying the rest of the builder, the worst-performing stock on the main index, amid a global recession.

A takeover, if decided, would follow MMC's August agreement to pay RM2.19 billion for a local airport manager and some water-treatment assets.
"Zelan has got a good order book, but based on market conditions, it has not seen any increase in orders," said Pankaj Kumar, who manages US$540 million (US$1 = RM3.63) of assets, including MMC shares, at Kurnia Insurans Bhd. "On that basis, investors have some valid concerns."

MMC fell as much as 28 sen to RM1.36 and traded at RM1.37 at 12:30pm local time break, headed for the lowest close since April 28 2006. Zelan jumped as much as 14 per cent, the biggest gain in eight months.

MMC, backed by billionaire Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary, may take over its 39 per cent-owned Zelan unit or combine its construction unit MMC Engineering Bhd with Zelan in exchange for Zelan shares, the Edge weekly newspaper said last Saturday.

MMC should refrain from making new acquisitions because "it has a lot on its plate already," said Chris Eng, an analyst at OSK Research Sdn Bhd, with a "neutral" call on MMC stock.

In August, MMC agreed to buy Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd, operator of Senai Airport in Johor, and Aliran Ihsan Resources Bhd, which supplies 70 per cent of Johor's water.

"The man who has been growing Zelan is leaving the company," said Eng, referring to Chang Si Fock, who will quit as Zelan's chief executive officer in January when his employment contract expires.

"This creates uncertainty" in Zelan, he said. - Bloomberg

How much u holding at what price?

I've exited Zelan early this morning, market seems more toward profit taking.
Will stay sideline and monitor.. maybe will grab some more at lower price.

EPF is pumping alot money to buy Zelan stock but chk today Zelan announcement, its
Director of the Company, Mr. Lam Kar Keong and The Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chang Si Fock @ Chong See Fock
keep selling off their shares.

I queue back to buy Zelan at 0.77 but didn't get.
Queue Lionind at 0.625 also no luck.. it drop to 0.63 then shoot up back to 0.645 at closing time.
Lionind 1% dividen very little....compare to zelan 5 sen dividen... nevertheless tomorrow and thursday its price will start to move.

Hopefully can get at a lower price 2molo

Ya, i oso feel US market will start profit taking soon. Think their bad news there still not really end yet.

mphb - defensive stock target abt 0.95 sen

I'll only buy any of these 2 counter stock if their price fall.
Too many counters need more bullet...need to safe some for backup plans.

Tomorrow last day 2 buy bfr ex.div
Its dividen not much only 1% means 100 unit only RM10 dividen. Okla if buy earlier not bad coz it fly now..

I've been targeting this counter since last week..man..i set my buy price lower, it alwys drop close to my buy price den go up.
I know it will have high chances to shoot up when close to its ex div date coz its price support quite strong last week.
