ran into another problem

i have copied all data from 20Gb to my desktop

now opening the 120GB on my desktop with explorer 360 & explorer 360 extreme 2

it shows only Partition 1 sad.gif

i have done the hex on the hard disk and hex on the explorer360 done

explorer 360 extreme 2 seem to have itself hexed already so no modifications there

after hexing the 120gb, i checked again using the winhex

it was saved and the 120gb now has

'58 54 41 46 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 01'
in the XTAF

but opening it still shows partition 1 only

i have restored partition 2, and magically partition 3 has appeared

how do u copy stuff from ur Desktop to the Partition 3?

inject file / inject folder ?

right click partition 3 > inject folder >

it seems to work =.=

ill try for all my folders and see how it goes by reporting back smile.gif

a BEVT drive can be found in many places actually

its actually getting BEVS which is a problem

however, i think BEVT has less problems as im running into many many problems, which i am solving only 1 by 1

its crazy

can i assume that if we found a game saves on the net, we can just copy it and put into the hdd? like ppl's with the hdd pc connectivity kit did?

i connected my hard disk to the sata connector and hddhackr couldnt detect my hard disk on the sata port

i had to hex edit the hddhackr program and insert my own sata port devices

i doubt your method of using usb will work coz its specifically looking for sata I/O ports on your motherboard (hddhackr)

i encounter many problems too as well

its based on ur sata ports on motherboard, operating system, hexing, har disk type, program compatibility many more

end of the day, it was worth it

im keeping my 20GB data from explorer 360 extreme2 in my PC , just in case biggrin.gif

i think your guide is ok, but do add the part where it requires you to add in the hex part as mentioned in scene-xbox, i think that would ease the confusion. and about winhex, it's good coz i think the main reason the author put that is so that we can check whether we correctly hex the part to XTAF (as in 80000 hex)

no problem about the model, will update later coz not at home......but i think worth it, although i spent much more on a 250G HDD...kekeke

u bought at 250 hard disk ?

i suggest that u document save games that didnt work

this will at least pre-emp others about the possible "casualty" of save games if we do it

so far , Forza II & Fable II

the results might vary for every different user hard disk upgrade but we still need to ensure everyone is aware that save games can corrupt

this is not to spoil peoples fun and hard work , especially save games

i tried my forza save game , looks OK so far.

i have yet to test all games but now im not going to copy out and copy in again, kind of risky.

ive got it working and thats about what i care most. 58GB remaining and its a very happy moment in my gaming career to save myself from MS, again and again and again..

i didnt clear my cache

i just removed everything which i didnt need such as demos or videos

i had about 12gb free, with 1.5gb used

so i copied 1.5gb out, including cache... save games so far are intact, no problem smile.gif !!!
