I bought a BEVS at miri here lolz. Last stock edi. Btw, can anyone teach me how to make my pendrive bootable? I no floppy drive... QQ..
*
just copy the $systemupdate folder into the pendrive, u dont need 2 make it "bootable"

the folder should be the only thing in the pendrive though smile.gif

i have returned and i see many hard disks upgraded to 120GB using 160GB biggrin.gif

so far running smoothly for a month + and all save games so far work fine

new games and NXE saving games to hard disk has no problem as well smile.gif

well, if its blank HDD 160GB convert to 120GB XBOX

without migration of gamertag & game saves, I think its very much easy 2 smile.gif

my xbox has never froze on GOW2 after installed to HDD

and i doubt discs can have higher read / write than the hard disk

i might be wrong but very unlikely.. read write of hard disks are usually faster than cd / dvd , wel thats 7200rpm..

our 5400 rpm sata bevs / bevt might be a diff story biggrin.gif

lol many of us flash the hard disk since NXE came out smile.gif

without the interface, nobody will bother with larger hard disk size

nope, the .flash file for xbox file system max is currently 120GB

any space higher than that is locked away and wasted

u need a mobo with sata

this is requirement of the tools to flash

it has specificly written to observe sata ports on mobo and if not there, you have 2 hex edit

using USB is not possible

msn83235502, msn83235502

well, u gotta hex edit to enable the mobo to boot up and identify that sata drive

as the guide stated, its best to find a mobo with sata built in ports and hex edit towards that direction

thats what i did anyways and was successful

i read that USB cant actually , mmxzero smile.gif

however a small fraction of people might actually maybe got past the detection
