My friend tells me from his experience Acer monitor not so reliable.
Is this true?
He owns a PC shop and used to sell Acer.

Well, most of us do not have any bad experience with it. And the price is very cheap. (reasonable)

I meant Acer monitors in general.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I bought my x203h from Jayacom two weeks ago @RM380

Someone here wrote that his power button is stiff and hard to on.
Mine is OK with power button but volume down is very stiff.
Which means hard to select menu items.
Give me a stiff power button anytime.

Yup! Power button not obvious.
Initially kept pressing amber coloured "button" before discovering real button underneath.

But volume down still stiff.
WD40 maybe?

Old build in graphics mobo (Biostar M6VLR) don't support widescreen or custom resolution. sad.gif
I'm looking for P3 board with AGP now.

Anybody got one to spare/trade? icon_question.gif

Interestingly I can get "unsupported" widescreen setting in Linux but only at slightly wider 800 x 1280 (I think it was 1280).

Custom? What resolution settings can you get?
*
On the built in Trident Core 3D, I only get preset 4:3 resolutions.
No custom available.

On my nvidia, already support 900 x 1600 natively.

by the way, built in speakers are too crappy. but i can also live with it. hehe.

Let it run in a while.
I noticed it gets a bit better after a while.
Either that or my ears all numb after listening to those speakers. blink.gif

Speakers good enough for office use.

Anyone try this monitor with PS3?
