Bought this monitor for a client, unfortunate sent back to RMA due to.... stand issue. The stand cannot fit due to the "legs" or pegs not aligned! I've also checked another unit (demo set) and that one has a different stand socket. Thus anyone buying this monitor, make sure you check this on the spot... Now have to wait till after CNY to get this monitor back with a proper stand.

Yup, it looks good..

Its pretty good actually, I've always like Acer's almost pure "white" since I've also had an older Acer 17" monitor (used as work monitor) which is "paper white". The colors are very strong especially the red and green tones. Compared to my BenQ which has kinda "warmer" white and more bluish tones. And compared to Dell ones (the 19" widescreen model), the Acer colors look more vibrant than Dell's somewhat dull looking colors. Its less intense compared to a Samsung 19".. The horizontal viewing angle is kinda good too when going from left to right.. bit better than my BenQ 22", maybe its due to the shorter length/width I'm not sure.

The stand design is almost the same as Dell, you can see the "leg" design... Except Dell's stand is heavy.

Its not that flimsy.. Pretty stable actually, it will take an extremely hard knock to even try to topple it.

The "centre of gravity" determines its stability..

More or less the same, depends on how they design the base stand. I have an Acer AL1717, a 4:3 screen, still haven't made it fall despite the numerous knocks on the table when moving PCs around the table.

Nope, they don't.. Their monitors come from various OEMs, including Samsung, BenQ, LG, Chimei, etc.. Hard to tell.

Could be also... Like I said.. hard to tell, unless you examine the labels and the PCB inside.

For example, this old 17" model is by BenQ..

I'm not surprised. This monitor very "hot" item... When I went to buy also, the one I've found was the last unit (or have to wait for new stock)

You sure its the same model X203H and not the cheaper V203H? AFAIK the V203H sells for around RM37x...

No idea... Some reviews shows that it does have, some doesn't. On Acer's product website the DVI is listed as "(optional)". Maybe I'll check it out one of these days..
