i did my hair rebonding yesterday at Hair Exchange, Sg Wang... RM165... for root retouchment rebonding using Shiseido cream + free Loreal treatment + cut (RM130) & additional hair treatment and hair mask (RM35)...

done it yesterday at the mall opposite pwtc there.199 is 4 shoulder length hair.
quite satisfied with the result.

abt 2 years ago..i did my rebounding in derrick n team, mid valley oso....
i did it after keeping my hair natural without any chemicals treat for abt 1 1/2 year.
the results....okay....straight and quite smooth..
that time i paid for promotion too... rebounding including treatment RM280..
it also long lasting..they claim for rebounding they are using S2 from japan and for treatment Schwarzkopft...
i dunno the good result due my damage free hair at that time anot..
but the only reason why i do not want to go there agn becoz...it has cause my hair putus2...

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone did hair relaxing, is it harsh to your hair? How much did you pay?

Also, what products do they use? Xtenso (don't really remember the name)?

i juz washed my hair yesterday... the result is good... took bout 3 hours at the salon... my hair is 4 inches to reach waist... which is very long...

btw i go alot of hair salon...each time different place...

@ hair zone (seapark) - dye....ok normal but expensive plus treatment rm350!!!!
- rebonding (my sister) not bad but (too straight!!!!)
- cut - don really dare to let them cut...rather go shunji

@ SNIPS sg wang-(ok ok only very fast cut finish)

@ SHUNJI MATSUO (mid valley)-

(my best place of all.went ther more then 3 times..the stylist is very daring, they don stop u if u wan to cut from long hair to short.
Last time i got waist line hair lengh cut till above shoulder..and very nice too....recommend if u need to change hairstyle(bad news is the director japanese hair stylist transfer to vietnam already..haih.... but she recommend us to go inside japanese club (another shunji) to find another japanese hair stylist.

price cut -shunji midvalley (rm98)
-shunji japanese club (rm78)-this week go cut

if rebonding or perm their price range is rm350 onwards (abit pricey)(if rebond or perm , cut seperate pay)

***ps they got korean hairstylist also..dunno if they transfer him anot (recomend for manageble hair)

@ sg wang (down stair forgot wat name)-ruin my hair (perm my hair like auntie DENG!)

@ monsoon id(1 utama)-erm normal only...not much different but they give alot of suggestion.

@ Sunway (forgot wat is the name) - cut a very old style hairstyle....haih..those staircase style wif half short half long (now my housemate need to tie her hair everyday)

@ EP (my sister went..not bad...but my sister din change hairstyle just trim sooo..normal looo ) exp then shunji i think rm100+
but good for those who wan to go for very stylist hairstyle..

@ frizzer- time square new opening..look pro not those lala ones..went for perm,dye,treatment,blow,wash (rm500)
-im satisfied....love the curl cause now they promoting the soft perm not auntie perm or digital perm make my hair very very soft

- my sis straightening,dye,treatment at rm438(whole pakage)..not bad the straight..very natural straight..

@ kota damansara AUGUST -my housemate rebond for rm300 plus treatment but i think my housemate is lucky since her hair is done nicely..but i saw some opinion...they suck...oh well...hahahhaha

Nice information. I love the info u gave for the shunji. I heard good comments on this saloon too.
So the cut price is fixed at RM98 or RM98++ ?
The Shunji japanese is located at where ? I really consider getting my hair cut there.
Would they help u cut to suit your face shape or you requested for it ? And this question is most important of all, are their service friendly and polite ? Thank you if you could reply ^^

yea sure..the price in midvalley is fixed rm98 for director cut....i think u better go to the japanese club (inside also shunji) because mid valley dunhav anymore japanese stylist,only japanese club got ...
the japanese club is located in seputeh..wel really not sure how to go..cause im not local also..hahahaha..they are very friendly even the receptionist is japanese..hahahah ..i like to cut in shunji because they are very daring to cut ur hair.and nice too very pro...she will let u see pic of how she will cut ur hair first if you agree then only cut.

theres one in bangsar village jalan telawi 2 (min & shunji matsuo)heard the guy min cut hair very nice...hes from korea...my fren wanna book..but fully book in the weekend..haha..make sure to do early booking..hahaha

hope this help...my advise japanese club shunji is better since ther is a japanese stylist and rm20 cheaper!!! rm78 director cut!!!!

Then I will definetely go for the place with japanese stylist I love the japenese style.. It's the best !! I'm not from KL too. I plan to go when I have holiday. I need to save money also because I dont think I would need just a cut. I have a v bad frizzy hair. I dont like rebonding too much. Not natural. I hope shunji would be able to suggest me something next time I go. RM78 for a director cut is very afforable! Thanx for the number too. Saving it ! Do you have the full priceless for the shunji japanese club ?

Yay.. It's good that they are friendly because I have been to really expensive saloon but I just tried the cheapest option in their saloon, their looks changed..



I think it gotta be something special and rebonded by Winnie Loo herself ? I heard a cut from A CUT ABOVE can come to RM500..

new news from shunji...i cut my hair dy...i like it..hahahah now my hair is more lifely then heavy...oh yea...there is only one stylist(japanese) at the japanese club...then we chat along then I realise that she say that the only REAL shunji matsuo is only in japanese club!!!!! she say the others like in bangsar or midvalley is only branch(means take shunji's name and do business) the only place that train from REAL SHUNJI COMPANY..is only in japanese club...the stylist name ayako..shes very cute...last year went to singapore do hairshow.

hey,u can do natural rebonding now..my fren did once..its call volume straight..very natural and not those flat flat straight. but of course more exp then those normal rebonding.

for the pricelist..i think u better go and ask..because she say different hair different price..i told her that i did my perm in time square for rm400+..she also shock..she say my hair rm200++ can be done already..hahahah this im not sure..maybe the chemical difference? next time ill try perming ther..hahah

rm500 i think its a bit too exp?? not sure whether maybe its the chemical itself..but rm500??? might be cut and treatment different price...

did relaxing once..its so so oni lo..if ur hair is wavy/curly after do relaxing it wont gv u d straight effect..it'll jus gv u a volume look if u intend to hv volume hair..i've been doin rebonding since 2002..every 5 months i do rebonding..so far my hair is still sleek n shinny..all tis while my saloon used sheseido rebonding creme..nw she uses Xtenso since its new brand..1st time i did rebonding also cost me rm400 coz my hair long n thick..nw everytime touchup also rm250-300 depends on d lenght..rebond also nt necessarily to b flat straight..it depends on certain angle they straighten..if they pull 90 degree it'll gv u a volume hair..if they pull straight then ur hair will turn out flat straight..

Haha I actually like the jap style better than the local style. The bob and stuff..it's a bit boring to me.. I like hair with lots of movement and natural.

Yay congrats ^^ A lively hairstyle is great. Lol made me wanna go to KL now and get my hair done by the jap stylist. My hair is long and dull. Was it RM98 for a cut or depends the hair length ? My hair length is till the chest area and I intend to keep a hair length that is not so long and would make me stay young and fresh. Lol I'm pretty demanding becoz so far the salons I went were only boasting and couldnt even cut a hair that suited me. But I'm so confident in the jap stylist.
