Hi,

The limit on SD Ram for Wii now is 2GB.

But the recent Homebrew 0.9 claims that it now supports SDHC (theory means that you can go even beyond 512GB). It needs to be formatted as FAT32 (previously FAT16).

Has anyone tested it? Does it work? Just wanna share your success story before i go ahead and purchase SDHC.

Why would you need that much space?

To store pirated games? shakehead.gif

2GB, is plenty big, for what the Wii currently(and originally) supports.. JPGs, GIFs, some AVIs,  ACC audio, some Samba de Amigo songs, some VC games, but seriously, even with all those content combined, 2GB is plenty big.

My question is, why?

Sihumchai, you think too deep.

I have several GB of photos of my family photos cumulated over the years. I originally store them on an external HDD which i connect the Wii (successfully), only to realise that the Photo Channel can't retrieve data from HDD.

To go around it, i will need to ship all the photos into the SD card, but it can't fit.. |yawn.gif(..

I've found out that the Wii is a perfect home entertainment system. With these tools, i can skip my previous goal of having a Media Centre. Thta's some money saved. |yawn.gif)

Won't it be cool? With the Wii, i could now show my friends and relatives our family photos right from the TV. |yawn.gif)
