QUOTE(jehutyz @ Mar 11 2009, 10:41 PM) Yup Merc and BMW, the number present the the engine capacity. 55 doesn't mean 5.5. The 55 cars have supercharged 5.4 V8s.See the 600 (S600, CL600, SL600)? Not all of them have 6.0 V12s. Take this as an example, the R129 SL600, it had a naturally aspirated 6.0 V12, but the successor, the R230 SL600, had a lower engine capacity with only 5.5 litres, but boosted by biturbos. Currently, all 600 badged models share twin-turbocharged 5.5s. The 65 AMG models, such as SL65, CL65, S65, CLS65, etc., uses a 6.0, but has the biturbo. A few examples - B/C/E/200 - 1.8; three variants - NA, Turbo (B200), Kompressor C/E/CLK/SLK/230 - 2.3; NA (older), mostly Kompressor. Some C230s are 1.8s (Supercharged), some are V6s. Currently, if I'm not mistaken, the 3.5 (350) is the only engine that is being used by the all/most of the models. |

Just asking, merely out of curiosity, but if you want to keep it PRIVATE, then why do you blast it out in this thread (and also the other) that those are your cars? Wouldn't be it a wiser and choice to PM the poster if you want privacy?
Thought you had a 350Z, anyhow. A few of your past posts mentioned your 350Z. Don't flame me mate. Just asking. Cheers. Added on March 13, 2009, 3:24 pm QUOTE(hkskanasai @ Mar 13 2009, 11:08 AM) benzene88 I would appreciate it if you could kindly remove my car's photo Just a day or two ago you were driving your GT-R in Labuan and at a similar time you're driving your Gallardo in KL?You posted the photo of my car up without permission and I don't think I would want to attract unnecessary attention to my car. Flaming is alright but financial arrogance - I don't like that in my thread, my friend. People who you least expect - are driving cars of equal or more than "yours". So is it your own shot, actually. Or is it random.
And question - did you post it for us to look at that girl? |

QUOTE(=Hanxz= @ Mar 16 2009, 01:43 PM) look at the pictures in it and look at what EmperorMeng posted ie. the Lambo-girl Friend, my post was directed to EmperorMeng.I'm just quoting it and its in da spoiler cuz I'm not the one snapping them and I've attributed the source as well and I'm just reiterating my point that those pictures are all from other sources and not snapped by emperormeng himself since you're the one asking him to share the story behind that picture. Peace. |

QUOTE(=Hanxz= @ Mar 16 2009, 02:07 PM) Forgot to quote. My bad. Was lazy to do so because I was actually typing a lot (questioning him) although I just canceled it.Just didn't see why EmperorMeng had posted something irrelevant (not own shot, not locally shot, more of the girl than the car, etc.). |

QUOTE(vreis @ Mar 19 2009, 10:40 AM) Actually, although their lines may be angular and identical to each other, keeping in the current modern Lamborghini design, I don't really see how can a Gallardo be mistaken for a Murcielago, and likewise for the other way round. The rear - if you compare them - they're completely different. The side view - compare them - you'll see the Murcielago is much longer and looks more glued to the floor. And there's the truck-like width of the Murcielago, of course.. the Gallardo is compact. |

R8 with P sticker.
![]() Much like the black 599GTB F1 I posted back in '07 which also had a P sticker, only difference is that this was spotted in Malacca, not Singapore, where exotics are very rare, regardless of whether its a local or Singaporean reg'd car. Anyhow, if I'm not mistaken, this plate was on a 911 C2 previously. Edit: 2/3 weeks ago, forgot to tell, someone in Malacca took delivery of his brand new BMW E92 M3. Not some recond, used, UK/Japan spec car. This is an officially imported, brand-new, local-spec car. White, full red interior, etc. The lot. Massive brakes, raw V8 sounds awesome. The DCT shifts were extremely quick and impressive. Bearing temporary plates M 270 A.. since the brand new MBT plate was released a few days ago, I guess his plate would be one in that series, or if not then he's transferring an old plate.
