If yes, they've also got a Brabus SL with WNX 332.
Never knew the Turbo was theirs, though

(though some are fake, especially GT3s)but how come i see some GT2 got the GT2 behind the car.. but this...just a TURBO.?? LOL. just asking. how much does it cost?? Both the Turbo and GT2 have twin-turbo engines, unlike tha NA GT3. The 996 Turbo costs about 480k~500k+ at the moment. |

QUOTE(Roland San @ Feb 9 2009, 01:04 PM) smallest is 4.0, and it goes up to 5.0. road tax would be something to think about. i've always loved the way tvrs looked, and when i was a kid i always wanted a chimaera. that desire is now long gone, but those things are still something special, i think. Agreed. I also love TVRs. Even those current ones, which in the opinions of most, are ugly.I've always had a thing for fast and uncompromised cars. The Chimaera has always been to me, the jewel of the pack, because of its pure "two-door convertible sports car"-ness - long hood, raw exhaust note, etc. And you can really spec your car like no other, you can make it really unique, really your own. TVRs have always been like that.. By the way - are you sure their smallest engines are 4.0? I thought there are 3.6 / 3.8 engines for models? |

QUOTE(=Hanxz= @ Feb 9 2009, 02:09 PM) i dun think u had been seeing the same car, this was spotted at pacific regency suites aka luna bar, the place where all the expats and caucasians stay for trips I'll post the photo later.. hold on..the security guards there said it had been there for years, they just don't wanna remove it as it is still pretty much the car owner's property. and definitely it had been not moving for damn long, even the roadtax expired in 2007. spoke to another guy who was working in ford now and he was involved in TVR previously, they have a 3-months stint (it was just a project) in Malaysia and the car was assembled locally that time, (i can't clarify this as this is only hearsay.) the car is bloody gorgeous so to speak, the paintjob is still looking fine underneath all the dust. I've posted it on V1 though. Added on February 10, 2009, 8:16 am QUOTE(-YellowSn0w- @ Feb 9 2009, 02:08 PM) Of course I do. Funny you should ask.. Ridiculous talk. There is only 1 P4/5 in existence.
PS - Lots of exotics on Saturday and Sunday. Including the Scuderia which was around over the weekend. In town there were a few S'porean GT-Rs, some F430s (local), Lambos (local), etc. And those of you who are interested, around 4 or 5 Lamborghinis from Singapore will come to Malacca (led by the Malacca plate Scuderia) from Singapore on the 27th or 28th. I'll post more info on that as I get it. Added on February 16, 2009, 6:57 am QUOTE(-YellowSn0w- @ Feb 14 2009, 06:57 PM) Breras are 3-door hatches, you fool.159s are 4-door sedans. QUOTE(jeffreyb1004 @ Mar 4 2009, 04:07 PM) there was some talk previously about the amdb7 and how many r in malaysia. only 3 are here but they are all different, same colour though. I've seen a British Racing Green DB7 Volante with new plates WRF1888 but that plate soon went on to a new silver DB9 Coupe. Don't know what plate the DB7 has now.1 db7i6 coupe 1db7 volante 1 db7v12 vantage so far only 2 have been spotted. if someone has seen the db7vantage please post pics or DO SOMMIN... need my hands on one of em! I've only seen 3 Coupe DB7s.. one light green, one red metallic, and one black. Also saw one (dark blue) during my schooling days, also black, but don't remember the plate as I was not interested in plates back then. As for the Vantage.. never seen any. If there are any, I guess they are being left unused in owners' garages, much like the other DB7s. |
