it figures.. most of guys ur age dont know much bout the GT40.. heck even my frens who r same or older than me didnt know that the new GT is a modern version of this..

if read enough car magazines can know. haha. but iianm the GT isnt in production anymore right? only did a limited number or something. in various states of tune and engines iirc

yup, stopped production sumwhere in 2007.. n yup, it was a limited edition car, made 2 celebrate ford's 100th anniversary..

huh?? various states of tune n engines?? afaik, it only had that 5.4L 550bhp supercharged v8 in its entire 3yrs production lifespan.. well, except 4 the gtx1 that is..

oh ya, Dato Lee Chong Wei just get himself a BMW 645ci (is 6 series conside exotic?) ~ damn rich!

the other engines GT could have been the replicas. cant remember where i read it lol.

nope.. if its a replica, its a replica of the classic GT40, not the new GT..

OMG I really wish that this can enter competition.
Looks great and sounds right. If every other competitors would look somewhat like this, it would be the most good looking race we've ever seen.

For starters, from what I know, the original GT40 is 40 inches top to bottom. Hence the name. Not so for the nmew GT though. Its more than 40 inches.

And it is in my list of most hated cars in history.
It had beaten the crap out of Ferrari, that's why I hate it so much.
Although the story behind it is interesting. Built out of rage towards Ferrari.

yup.. thats where it got its name, GT40..

the new GT actually is 3 inches more, 43 inches top 2 bottom.. becoz of that, in its early production stages, they thought bout calling it the GT43 since they cant use the GT40 name..
