QUOTE(anType @ Mar 25 2009, 12:37 AM) Upon confirmation, I found out that it's actually Sultan of Kelantan. hahaha...okok....i was there just now....no wonder didnt see it....nice one nevertheless...heheWriting in arabic on the emblem also states "Sultan Kelantan". It was together with cars with KELANTAN DARULNAIM plates - Toyota Hiace and Honda Accord. It was in KL for 5 days from 15 til 20 March - first spotted it at Times Square hotel on Sunday night together with "DAQ 1" Land Cruiser, where I was forced not to take pictures. Later saw it at Shangri-La on 19th March, in the lower level entrance. |

QUOTE(mikelee @ Mar 25 2009, 10:22 PM) I have got no pictures to show but I have found this interesting video: The setup of the garage looked just like the mysterious rich man's garage that a BMW club in the US visited...I forgot where the link is but it looked exactly like it...The Sultan of Michigan » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Can you name all the cars? The forum managed to zoom in on one of the pictures which contains the invite saying something like "....arrive at Page's property...." It was then rumoured to be of Larry Page's (one of Google's founders) garage as he is a car junkie as well...and he can afford them...there were a few clues leading to Page as well but the most obvious one was the invite mentioned above...They were not allowed to disclose the place of the garage. Since this is titled Sultan of Michigan and Larry Page is from Michigan, I guess it's his... Disclaimer: I read all these from some forum which I can't remember. I didn't follow the news of the garage after that and I don't know if they've really found out if Larry Page owns the place.. Added on March 26, 2009, 2:57 amOh yeah, I think the video is named The Sultan of Michigan is because there is someone like the Sultan of Brunei (which to westerners know that he has thousands of cars) that stays in Michigan, hence The Sultan of Michigan...... Just my theory... Oh yeah, the F50 is missing....he had all the Ferarri super cars lined up according to the evolution, with the Enzo at the last..I don't see the F50 before the Enzo though...or did I miss it? Just saw a black Aston Martin Vantage near Mont Kiara.
Number plate was AGT 7777. Driven by an Indian guy in his 30s... I don't have a camera at the time. Sorry. Anyone snapped it before? |
