Thank you for your suggestion! I'm currently eyeing on King Koil Diamond. Any idea where can i get Japanese style wooden bed frame like Muji but with a cheaper price?

Hi iamsobloodysick,

I'm looking for a super single size mattress and my budget is around up to 1.5k. is there any latex mattresses around this price point as I find that most of latex mattresses are quite expensive. Thanks in advance 🙂

you can try Englander Nashville latex mattress. I bought one (medium) and it's comfortable They have in medium softness, firm and xtra firm.

I bought at Shopee https://shopee.com.my/ENGLANDER-NASHVILLE-(...38786.825985301

Thickness 9 inch (23cm)

Parkson cannot, doesnt really fit mine. Akemuchi also not really.

I'm running 19" thick mattress, most of the time the bottom 2~3" is not covered...  sweat.gif

Thanks for the heads up, any idea on the name of shop?
*
Sorry, I didn't notice the name of the shop. I was going to the Korean BBQ when I spot the shop and went in to take a look as I was looking for bedsheet that can fit thick mattress too. Didn't buy any as the color selection did not match my requirement.

Ah ok, will go look around.

19" is a pain in the neck to handle. Didnt want to go custom made due to the cost  sweat.gif

Yup, I understand how u feel. I was lucky, I found some "sale" bedsheet while I was in Singapore that fits 42cm. Only paid S$39. But these are not suitable for 19 inch mattress.

Wish u luck in finding nice bedsheets for your mattress

Actually I do find alot of bedsheets overseas... like CK brand, even Ralph Lauren at very affordable prices... almost at par with our brandless OEM stuff here...

But the problem is the weight/size factor.. I only get 2 bags/60kg allowance for my flight.. if i start stuffing in bed sheets it would fill up real fast..

Maybe can buy in bulk and shipped it back, by sea freight will be a lot cheaper than flight and usually only take 2-3 weeks.

how is Englander mattress compared to King Koil? is it recommended?

Saw in expo they have quite a good bargain + bed frame.
*
I'm an Englander user and so far satisfied with their mattress. they have medium soft, firm and very firm.

I have 2 firm mattress almost like King Koil that is still in very good condition after 9 years.

I recently bought one medium soft and it's very comfortable. (Nashville)

Is Joey Mattress is any good? Review please
*
I bought Joey mattress single for my 2nd guest room. a bit on the firm side, the sales support told me that it will get softer after sleeping on it for a while

Not sure how long is "a while" or how soft it's going to get. The mattress is thick (approx 12 inch)

I only sleep on it for a few days while waiting for the rest of the mattress to be delivered
