Can i get a serta or sealy with rm5k budget?

My criteria is pocketed spring with latex layer, medium soft firmness, queen size.

iamsobloodysick any recommendation? I could still up my budget if its not too far from my initial budget. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys - just tried the Tech Ambient Ultimate 10 mattress at Harvey Norman which felt amazing. Memory foam mix. Was about RM5.5k for queen sized mattress after dc.

Anyone have any feedback on this model or brand and is there a better alternative for the price? Would really appreciate some guidance

Harvey Norman price is heavily inflated. Even after “discount” price is still expensive then before discount in other furniture shop. I was looking for Serta mattress, and harvey norman price after “discount” is still expensive compared to the price in Serta Gallery in PJ before discount. sweat.gif

Yeah I just noticed this mattress today. Anyone has bought this Latex 99? Getha also accepts trade in for mattress with min depth of 8” for RM500.

Getha is one of the top latex mattress manufacturer in Malaysia. If you tried and like the feeling of that mattress, then shouldn’t be a problem if you buy since it is from a reputable manufacturer thumbup.gif Another brand to consider is Napure which is also one established local mattress manufacturer.

Hi, what do you guys think about the Lady Americana country claybourn series?  The king size, after discount 6k.

I bought a king size and a super single size DORMA mattress but they are as supportive as what we tested during the homedec.  And the king size is much softer than the super single and they said this is perfectly normal.  After few months of usage my back start to get very painful during mid night.... and year when they deliver that time there was this super strong chemical smells which last more than a week....

I am now looking to change the mattress to something else but afraid to buy from exhibition becausenormally they let you test the good one but deliver the bad one to you.

If you don’t mind display set, there was one king size display set in Serta PJ selling for 6k (original price was 30k++). And they will definitely deliver the one that you tested since it is the display set. laugh.gif But i am not sure if it is still there because the salesperson offered me that one when i was shopping for mattress few weeks back.

What do you guys think about Serta Premier suite and Grand Suite?  King size.  Any seller here?

Where do you stay? If close to kajang you can visit iamsobloodysick as he sells serta.

If near to PJ, i would recommend you to go to Serta outlet in PJ, and find the outlet manager azahar. He gan give you good explanation and good price. Very good service from azahar i would say.

I just joined.. who’s Joseph?

Ya... like I said, I just joined this forum. Came here due to a search for comparing mattresses. I was interested in Sonno before. Then I found out that it’s made in China! So scratch that out.

Then I came across Inovo. Has anyone heard of them or know anyone who has bought one?

www.inovo.com.my

Made in Germany... it’s memory foam and foam/latex which is what I want. Springs are very dangerous which is why I’m seeking a replacement since landlord refuses to replace current mattress.

Thanks for your insights..

I don’t think there is any mattresses in Malaysia made in germany, at least for that price, maybe there is for high end one, but definitely beyond normal people’s affordability (RM30k<).

For the price i seen in inovo’s website i think most likely made in china. The better one, made in Malaysia are Getha and Napure (from my own research, I am not in mattress industry).

And it seems that inovo is jack of all trades. I would not recommend buying mattress from jack of all trades manufacturer.

I listened to ur advice and go test out silentnight budget mattress, it almost has the same good feel....

Anyone using slientnight comfort 222?

I bought Silentnight 9 years ago and it was one of my best investment. Until today the mattress still going strong and still holding its shape. Only complaint is that it started to give noise at some section after around 7 years, which isn't that bad for a 2k mattress. Now upgraded to Serta and its a whole different level. My Silentnight moved to guest room and my guests straightaway thinking of upgrading their mattress after spending a night here laugh.gif

Since we don’t have dedicated pillow discussion thread, i think this is the best place for me to ask question about pillow. Anyone knows where I can buy Serta Microgel Pillow (that you’d get free when buying their mattress).

Hi sifus,

Looking to get a mattress for when i move into my new place and hoping for some recommendations please.

- Am predominantly a side sleeper
- Around 75kg
- Prefer soft-med mattress feel (something like hotel feel would be ideal)
- Willing to spend up to rm15k
- Looking for Queen size
- Not too familiar with mattress material, but ideally something that wont sag and lose support after a while
*
For your budget you should go and try all the 3S brand in their showroom. Choices for soft-med is pretty limited, mostly med-hard. Mine is super soft though. Feels like heaven when sleeping thumbup.gif

I guess there's no real substitute to actually trying the mattress. I rate myself as wanting a medium mattress - somewhere around 5/10 or 6/10 firmness, but my scale may not match others.

By the way - what is the 3S brands? (Slumberland I know...but what are the other 2S)?
*
3S are Sealy, Simmons and Serta.

Off all the three brands, Serta is the easiest to find.

Hi Joseph,

I’m looking for super single mattress for my kids. Prefer pocket spring, medium firmness with soft fixed topper. Something that can last for 8-10 years. Expected one of them to be around max 70kg in the future. Budget around 3k per piece. Could you recommend me few options for me to consider?

Thanks
