Hello Guys,

I'm planning to get a mattress this weekend.
Looking for a Latex/ pocket spring /memory foam type mattress.
Firmness around 6-7
Price Range around 3-6k
King Size

Went almost 10 different outlets and decided with the Dunlopillo coolsilk Bliss (RM 6k)
Do you guys think it is a good choice or if anyone has any past experience with dunlopillo in general or the model even better ?

Or do you guys have any other recommendation? Any help will be appreciated thumbup.gif

Hi all sifus,

Need some guidance on mattress.
I am currently renting fully furnished (own place still in construction estimated another 2 years completion).

My landlord provided queen size bed frame (or divan I not sure how to differentiate) as well queen size mattress. However the mattress seems to be poor as hearing many 'weird sound' after few months sleeping and seems to 'sunken' a bit.

I would like to know IF I to purchase those more reputable mattress brand (Dunlopillo/Vono/King Koil/Dreamland bla bla), do I need to change the bed frame to reputable one? Or can I re-use the bed frame and just change mattress only as on budget..

May I also get some suggestion if my budget is RM1k can I still get a queen size mattress? Or should I adjust my budget a little more?

Pax: 2 person (my wife and me)
Weight: Approximately 55kg + 67kg
Position: Mainly side sleeper + back sleeper
Condition: wife have sciolisis and frequent complain of back pain when after sleeping on the provided mattress
Firmness: I guess hard or mid since is good for back support/sciolisis? Do correct if I am wrong.

From what I know , side sleepers will require a softer mattress so it will shape your spine accordingly. Not sure about people with scoliosis though 🥹
