steamed to dry and baked to dry.. just the gimmic to promote... it is still cooking them. Both will say their method is better in keeping the nutrients & vitamins. While dehydrated is different, because no cooking there, just get rid the water from the raw content. So dehydrated food normally isn't cook, unless they write dehydrated cooked food, but haven't come across any XD So basically all of them is fighting which is the best way to preserved the vitamins n nutrients in the food.

What food you come across saying steamed to dry?

not to say not to feed.. just keep it "in case"

lets say, you feed this "k" meat for example, and suddenly your dog allergic to the "k" (although they would say impossible) then you need to find alternative. Then if lamb, chicken, beef all cannot, so you very hard to find suitable protein base kibbles already. Then need try fish la, try duck la.. if all tried, still got rabbit now haha..

if also cannot, then have to go vegetarian. Food allergy is very hard to "determine" which is the culprit. It may because of the preservatives used in commercial food, maybe the grains, maybe any of the ingredient used =)

hey jason,do u think i wanna bring scrabby 2 do his cropped ears?
i think better rite?cleaner.cuz he's a strong smell coming frm the ears.now only i realized.i used ear cleaner every after his shower

Cropping ears will not help improving ear hygene... your dog also not going into bush to hunt things.

Just do more cleaning, and make sure no mites.

my Bobo ears r smelly oso.I brought her 2 vet but da vet said da earshit should be black,n my bobo is abit red brown.
he gave me sth like ear cleaner,juz drop few drops inside her ear 2 times each day
now da earshit really lesser than las time,but da smell..haven't gone yet. icon_question.gif
*
red brown thing maybe is infection. If infection then need medication, medicated ear cleaner, usually 2 times a day, some vet says for 3 days, some say 10 days. I think depends on how serious is the infection. If infection is not taken good care of, will become ear mites, then it takes longer to cure.

Can, you try few days see, if still no improvement, you need a medicated one. But better you let vet check, dont simply buy.

I just search about inbreeding, and found this thing:

QUOTE
This percentage is called "inbreeding coefficient". There are several methods to compute this percentage, the two main ways are the path method [9] and the tabular method [10].

Typical inbreeding percentages are as follows:

    * Father/daughter - mother/son - brother/sister -> 25%
    * Half-brother/half-sister -> 12.5%
    * Uncle/niece - aunt/nephew -> 12.5%
    * Cousin -> 6.25%
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inbreeding

Added on November 22, 2008, 1:02 amIn your case = * Half-brother/half-sister -> 12.5%

don't so panic first.. you bring pepper out b4 or not?

can put frontline on body, but you need to use properly, spray according to the direction, not spray like perfume.

If I were you I won't use frontline on that puppy wor.. cause frontline is actually chemical, quite strong. I personally don't like it. Pepper might get the ticks from the vet. You try to search thoroughly this few days, because baby ticks cannot see, but they will grow big quick. So you check daily see got new ticks or not. And also see Pepper got scratch or not. If no scratch then no itchy, no ticks lor..

Thts d only tick i found... my fren told me it's impossible condo got tick... so i check eveywhr & i found out tht my neighbour's dog got ticks & d ticks came 2 my hse... blink.gif I dun think Pepper got it frm vet coz i brought her 2 vet 2 weeks ago...
Btw, Pepper did scratch a lots since she came 2 my hse... so i tot mayb she's not suitable wt chicken so i changed her food 2 lamb & rice & i'll keep monitoring her progress...izzit true a food can make puppy 2 hav a sensitive skin?
*
Yes, food can make a dog sensitive, not sensitive skin. He sensitive to the ingredient, then feel itchy then scratch lor... you just change new food, at least 4-6 wks then only can confirm the result ya!

In that case, the ticks shud be travel from ur neighbour smile.gif

clement, you view back few pages before, the photo of boyboy winnie posted.. that one so yeng.. much more beautiful then the one you posted smile.gif The one you posted got messy legs. Not properly groom like standard MS cut.

Someone who is trained is definitely different then self learn.

Added on November 24, 2008, 10:49 pmWe also groom our Miki ourself, but there is still something different from what a professional groomer can do. I still send her to groomers for the big days, like her birthday, new year..
