QUOTE(tay @ Dec 9 2008, 06:48 PM) I have applied the CITI Bank Giant Credit Card on July 2008. Use a scissor - cut the credit card into half and call Citibank that you have just did that May i know is there any additional fee i need to pay for cancelation this credit card? Seriously - No additional charges la... Just cut before you throw the card away Else, people will misuse it. Call Citibank to inform them as well. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Dec 10 2008, 02:55 PM) @temptation1314, Arghh... it's pain in the ass. Well you're not the other side, so you don't feel the fire in the ass.. I thought there was a different meaning for code LV (had no idea U meant Louis Vuitton) - how come I didn't get mine?! Amex is not too bad; it's gaining 'popularity' and the amount of points they give back is so much better. I've bust my CL on my Amex 2 months in a row and now i'm back to using stoopid Citibank until I clear my Amex bill *grins* QUOTE(eviljonz @ Dec 10 2008, 03:32 PM) This is what I hear usually. |

Well...
Debit card = treat them as Prepaid Card (actually it is a PREPAID CARD) Credit card = Instant Loan when u need it, but with a limit. |

^You have to take note on the processing fee, hidden fees...
Even it's stated 0% interest... they still can charge you with hidden fees such as processing fee, admin fee, etc etc... |

Not sure if it's a mistake or what..
Most of the card in the M2U sites have to meet the requirement of 30k annual. But when i check with their staff, they just mentioned 18k for classic and so on... I think 30k is for Gold. |

QUOTE(mopster @ Dec 13 2008, 01:08 AM) hehe build up a good credit history then request for a CL increment.. the bank will most likely grant your request. I think you'll still hit the limit wall.eg max out your CC & pay in full everymonth and do it for like 1/2 a year and then request to increase CL.. 3k with 25k CL, it's like Salary X 8 Even for Personal Loans.. the Max was X5 from CIMB itself. |

QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Jan 13 2009, 05:54 PM) Yeah now I abit regret applying the Hong Leong Bank CC. don't get you.. normally count like thisNow I'm going terminate the card but wait till other CC arrives first. Need to ask you regarding on interest P.A Example: Let's say I have a RM1000 outstanding.. (assume no transactions made after that) My payment: 1st month = RM350 2nd month = RM350 3rd month RM = 350 RM1050.. just assume the extra RM50 is for the 1.5% interest... (dun count too exact) So will I be charge the 15% interest P.A when the year ended? No more overdue and it is within the 12months since my card first started. As per CS told me is no, but he seems blur so I hope anyone can verify this to me Thanks in advance lets say ur outstanding have reached maturity before you make payment 1st month interest = RM1000 X 0.015 = RM15 You pay RM350 So it's RM1015 - RM350 = RM665 2nd month interest = RM665 X 0.015 = RM674.98 You pay another RM350 So it's RM674.98 - RM350 = RM324.98 3rd month interest = RM324.98 X 0.015 = RM329.85 So on the 3rd month, you only pay RM329.85 to clear all outstanding. Total payment RM350 + RM350 + RM329.85 = RM1029.85 (interest RM29.85) if you pay before the outstanding matured, you will save a lot interest. |
