QUOTE(WilliamGoh @ Feb 8 2009, 06:54 AM) they actually cannot declare me bankrupt if i owe less than RM30k... so they cannnot cancel my passport... just curious, why would you risk your lifetime financial record for only 30k? that said who knows when they will change rules and systems or maybe even get your family involved.basically the only thing they can do is to blacklist me for life?? |

QUOTE(hao @ Feb 9 2009, 09:33 AM) Is anyone facing the problem regarding the Direct Access account does not show up in CIMB Clicks? Maybe you can try calling their helpline?I want to check my DA statement, but it doesn't show up inside the account summary. FYI, I have CIMB Clicks account before I got my DA. |

anyone know whether Alliance Bank adds any service charges to overseas transactions? Their card agreement at http://www.alliancebank.com.my/pdf/youniqu...ique_tnc_bi.pdf does not state it specifically

Was doing a study of Alliance Bank's credit cards and their cashback rates http://www.alliancebank.com.my/ccard_cashback.html
found an interesting fact. since it is tiered, the effective interest rates are different and depending on your monthly usage patterns, the classic card may give more rebates than the platinum card In a nutshell Monthly usage Best rebates RM0 - RM400 - Platinum RM500 - RM1000 - Classic RM1100 - RM3200 - Gold RM3300 - RM5000 - Platinum Interesting point to note that even with the cap at RM3000, the gold card still gives better rebates at RM3200 monthly spending compared to the platinum card. ![]() If anyone wants the spreadsheet can pm me. *Assumption: You:nique = Platinum card cash back tiers The rebate is not bad cause with the gold PB card i have, to reach the same amount of rebate for RM3k on a Alliance gold card, I need to have spent RM7846 on the PB Card. Talk abt poor return.... Pb's only positive point is no cap on spending though at those high numbers.. you won't care abt a 0.X% of rebate anyway. |
