Nope, my brother tried it out and it worked fine again. He did bash the left click button a bit though, maybe brute force fixed it.

There are two white Razer mice - Pro|Click V1.6, and Pro|Click Wireless Mobile, both categorised under the Razer Pro|Solutions brand.

The Pro|Click V1.6 is basically a reskinned (1st gen) Diamondback, and the Pro|Click Wireless Mobile is a Bluetooth mouse designed for notebooks, which comes in 4 colours, including white.

Well you know la how people treat the mouse in CCs. Keyboards there also got a lot of malfunctioning keys.

And mice in CCs are used on extreme cycles, you can't compare it to normal use.

A few Diamondbacks in Blitz are not working properly too (upstairs, with their crappy PCs), so it's not just DAs.

I don't have a DeathAdder, but I've used it quite a lot in Blitz and my friend's (which I bought for him), and I thought the quality was superb, as per Razer's norm.

I thought the DeathAdder's logo light can be turned off through the driver?

the mamba is so great , how much is the price?

$130, so should be around RM450, more or less.

Haha okay.

Personally I don't mind the pulsating logo light at all (on Lachesis Phantom White). Can hardly see it when you use it anyway. Don't really know why some people find it annoying.

Circa RM200 (DeathAdder) and RM250 (Lachesis) really aren't that expensive for gaming mice.. Especially when you take into account their feel-good factor. The RM100ish Krait and Salmosa can even be considered cheap.

But RM450 for the Mamba is expensive, that's for sure. Not too sure if the cool factor alone can make up for the high price, like the Boomslang CE certainly did.

We'll find out in a few weeks/months then. I'm definitely getting the Mamba and Megalodon when they come out. Low willpower, LOL.

I think the Boomslang CE is paying tribute to the old ballmouse Boomslang, that's why it commands such a high price lol. For the nostalgic feeling

Yup, and that alone more than makes up for its high price.

The new Mamba though, is the 'hybrid' thing really going to be worth $130?

wat high price? tongue.gif

last PC FAIR was selling at RM288, that was only just slightly more than the lachesis.
*
Well yeah, but when you compare its specs to the Lachesis, it's a lil expensive isn't it? Apart from the Razer Synapse, it's pretty much similar to the Deathadder, which is RM100 cheaper.

It's certainly worth it though. The design is a timeless classic, not to mention the packaging, which is to die for. I would have bought it instead of the Lachesis if my hand had agreed to its shape. Unfortunately it didn't =(.

It's all relative guys, you just have to get used to the speed.

When I first got a Diamondback (1600dpi) years ago, I thought it was too fast. But I got used to it.

Then upgraded to a Copperhead (2000dpi), thought it was too fast too. But I got used to it.

Now I'm using a Lachesis (4000dpi), yadda yadda yadda, you get my drift..

The first few days with a new mouse will always feel a little weird and awkward, but you'll get the hang of it. Just like everything else in life eh guys? brows.gif

New pictures of the retail version of the Mamba, from PCGH - here

Packaging looks sweet. The mouse itself, nothing short of awesome.

It's just a matter of weeks now =).

You can just park inside Wisma Academy. Ample parking in there, and it's not that expensive anyway.

As for the way there, you can take 3 different exits from Federal Highway - Jalan University, the one after that (Amcorp Mall/Taman Jaya), or the one after that too (PJ Hilton).

For Jalan University exit, turn off the highway and make a right at the traffic lights. Go all the way straight until you reach a roundabout, and take the 12 o'clock turn. From there just go in deeper and Wisma Academy will be on your right.

For the Amcorp Mall exit, turn off the highway and make a right at the traffic lights. Go straight till you get to a T junction with a traffic light, make a right. From there you can go straight on all the way till you reach the same roundabout I described above, and take the 9 o'clock turn. go in deeper and Wisma Academy will be on your right.

For the PJ Hilton exit, turn off the highway and make a right at the traffic lights. Go straight till you get to a T junction with a traffic light, make a left (this is the same T-junction that I've mentioned above, but you'll be coming from the opposite direction. From there you can go straight on all the way till you reach the same roundabout I described above, and take the 9 o'clock turn. go in deeper and Wisma Academy will be on your right.

Alternatively as Everdying said, from the T-Junction (after you make the turning - Amcorp/right , PJ Hilton/left) go straight till you see a mosque on your left, and make a left at the lights. Then take the first right, and Wisma Academy will be on your left.

Nope, not yet. It's not even available in any stores anywhere in the world yet.

Check again in late March, the earliest.

The Mamba has not been released yet. Not here, and not even in the US.

It'll be available through Razerzone.com sometime this February, and in US retail stores about a month after that.

Why don't you guys just register your email at Razerzone for for any updates on new products (announcements/releases/availability).

As of right now you can pre-order a Mamba through Razerzone and the estimated shipping time is in 4-6 weeks.

If you've registered for product updates, you'll receive notifications of new products. The last email sent out was about the Carcharias being available at Razerzone, 3 weeks ago.
Just be patient, when the Mamba is released, they will let us know.

high probability like always, that mamba will be released in asia first then only US a couple weeks or so after.

mamba expected to reach SG hopefully by end next month, malaysia hopefully very shortly after that.
so if really cannot wait, take a trip down SG to buy.
while mamba release date for US apparently will be april/may...just gotta wait and see.

Cool.. Just a bit more than a month to wait then. LOL by then, my (newly exchanged) Lachesis would only be about 2 months old. Oh well, it's still worth it..

Do you (or anybody else) have any news about the Megalodon though? I've been waiting for this since August last year.
