main reason is x2 vs x4 ......and ht-link x2 (1000) vs ht-link x4(1800)
somore x4 got n/b freq to to play

all is bout the bandwidth ...x4 run faster.
so wat in ur mind the nb temp will like ??

Bro sepul DFI nb cooler & mosfet cooler heatpipe is edy take out......yesterday night he told me.
i also ask him to lapping nb cooler & mosfet cooler and apply thermal paste

ok im back  rclxms.gif i have remove the board from my case and running caseless on box

seems temp is the same as in the case

after that i add stand off  each hole use 2 so bit high and i put 1 fan blowing under the board

walao temp goes down system before 47-49 now 41-42 chipset 45-47(with fan on top nb) now 41(with fan on top)

so the heat problem come from the motherboard itself

to solve the problem i think need to mod the mobo tray and add 1 fan blows under it

Is steel mid-tower case ....
the most important is how u management the fan
for intake and outlet fan must have
somore Alum case is much better to reduce the heat ...specially at mobo tray

if i no wrong Phenom II 940 price is nearly rm 1k

Phenom II 940

Air cooling can hit 4ghz
Water cooling can hit 4.4ghz
LN2 cooling can hit over 5ghz
