Get the mid range one will do nicely...especially those  OEM branded ones like Panasonic, Philips etc.
I dun recommend very cheap stuff. If your connection to the TV need some bending then get one with a L shape connector at one end.
Cheap HDMI cables can be easily damage with 90 degree bending. Also, check your installation. do not buy a thumb sized HDMI cable and complain that its not easily to hide the cables etc
*
Agree with you.... I got one that as big as my thumb, hard to bend and make the wdtv move to the side.

According to http://www.wdc.com/en/products/wdtv/

ArcSoft Update (6/11/2009) RMVB file conversion added.

With the above, can the WDTV now play RMVB files?
*
ArcSoft is the software to convert RMVB to a format that can use by WDTV. Conversion done on your PC.

Prerelease 1.02.10 (includes all previously released updates)

Fixed Items:

* Greek subtitles now render properly. Previously they rendered slowly, causing them to briefly flash on the screen.
* Korean subtitles now render properly. Previously they disappeared during video playback.
* Playlists play in the correct order. Previously they played files in alphabetical order.

Added feature:

* Metadata support for music improved over previous releases. For example, browsing by genre is broken down into artists, then albums, then tracks.

Known issues:

* A few text strings were not translated properly over different UI languages

Thanks for the feedback. But if got lots of Karaoke VCDs will still take long time to convert.
*
No need to convert, just rename the files to .mpg cos .dat actually a mpeg file by itself.

Hi, nordingh, may I know where did you bought it and how much is it? or it's included in the WDTV package you bought?
*
Lor, how many times I say, my WDTV adapter is 3 pin.

The one I have bought at Mydin, I think RM4.50 only.

Ok... let me know where are you from? if KL, then go to Jalan Pasar...
