I am looking to import some kitchen tools from overseas. A kitchen knife and some knife sharpeners. Estimated value is around USD600. Will I get taxed for this? And if so, how much and what is the procedure requried to get it out of customs?

Hi all,
Just wanted to know when are IATA Tact Rates applied? I recently bought a frying pan for AUD198 (RM600) incl. shipping but customs is claiming a clearance fee of RM300++ because of minimum IATA charges of RM356.77 Is there a way to dispute this? |
