You can try looking for Selsun shampoo.. These are practically safe for piggies. You can try getting it from the vet as many vets use this sometimes to treat mites. If that is hard to get, you can also try Prioderm shampoo. The prioderm is actually meant for humans, but its very2 safe for GPs too. But its best to consult a vet before you get your hands on these shampoo's.

How will you apply this netting? Yes they like to bite ocassionaly too. Instead of DIY, you can always get pet cages big enuff for him ^^.. This will also ensure that he wont hurt himself by getting stuck in the netting or sort. Coz their feets, can get stuck in the netting.. and he wont be able to pull his feet out

Make sure the tin if got rust already.. throw and change yea or you can buy the living world dome or igloo for them.. The dome is less than RM9 and the igloo a bit more expensive.. RM20 gua like that..

This is sufficient i think.. just make sure if you are gonna make the open concept.. you dont have other pets.. and free from predators. The storage box costs RM20 like finch said.

If you decide to put netting around it, wire mesh can (About RM10 per meter).. coz the GP's wont be biting the mesh coz the height of the base enclosure is just nice so that they wont be able to nibble on the mesh.

May i know where to get the RM 20 box?is it plastic?where to buy?in Ikea?

ooooohh hehehe that's cheap....rm4o?? hehe yeah...i pick up nubby's poo every day too..ehhehe coz i dont like he's cage to be messy...he likes to corek out all his food from the bowl doh.gif ahhaha then i have to pick them up and put back in to the bowl..i DIY my cage too..but not as cool as urs la..lol made out of mounting board ehehhe...and i flooring i use newspaper then cover with towel...coz my nubby have the tendency of chewing on the paper... rclxub.gif

You will need to research first on GPs before owning one.. Prices for shelties or peruvians are like what carol said. You will need a nice home for it too and prepare about RM150+ for pet store cages. Foods are about RM20 hay about RM25. Water bottles are about 10-15. Bedding depending on what you will use. Take note of fresh veggies too.. my veggies per week is about RM10... also you must consider fees and trips to the vet if your GP falls sick or anything. If you think they are easy to take care.. you will have to rethink again.. and they are not cheap either coz they eat a lot.

GPs actually do not require any pill or calcium or anything like that.. they absorb all the vitamins and etc from their daily vege intake. Also from hay and pellets. All these nutrients are absorbed into their body and the best time to absorb it is feeding veges in the evening or nite. So giving supplement is subjective.. Mine are very2 healthy without supplements Giving supplement is also considered like.. feeding your self with medicine.. when you really arent sick

Yeah, i agreed wt Sugar. No need to provide them any sypplement as long as provided them the right nutricience food as like Vegs, fruits,pallet and hay. I need to provide Jingle Calcium is because this is her 1st pregnant and she was already 10 mths old. The calcium supplement (liquid) is actually prescription from Dr.Jenny and believe that you will not able to get this from pet shop. Jingle dont eat vegs and fruits until she was 5 mths old when i bring Jasper back to company her. She learn how to take vegs and fruits frm Jasper acutally.

Due the Jasper sickness and Jingle pregnant, Dr.Jenny ask me to give them for additional of Vit.C to so that Jasper can recover more faster and Jingle need the extra for the babies.

I go and see Dr.Jenny yesterday and she told me since Jingle has giving birth, only need to give her calcium for another week and then have to stop. Vit.C i can give them once per week only if i wan since now both of them taking vegs and fruits.

Dr.Jenny said it is better for them to have all the nutricience naturally from food instead of give supplement unless they dont eat vegs and fruits or when they are sick.

Since Blackie are so healthy, no need to provide him extra supplement. Just need to make sure that he takes all the nutricience food that you provide to him is ok.

Jingle was 10 mths old and this is her 1st pregnant. Actually is very risky and that why i do what ever i can to make sure that she will have smoothy delivered.
