It's normal when they eat alot.. just like us.. if we eat a lot also need to go toilet gua seems like your GP poop got green color? I dunno if its the camera making the color like that.. huhu.. is the poo hard or soft?

If its hard then its ok just monitor if he starts to poo in greenish and soft.. those are signs of diarrhea. I think you mean Hagen pellet hehehe~ give some choi sum and some other leafy vege also ^^ give more variety for him

Tried to put some cLoth into his home to make it mOre comfy but he seems to Love sLeeping in his diRty poo poo pan..

GP are social animals.. they do need a friend.. if you bond a lot with blackie, you dont have to get a friend for him too soon. But if you think you wont be able to give him lots of attention then you should go ahead and get a friend for him. But proper introductions need to be done.. you cant simply campak them together and expect them to get along It's like someone throw you into the dungeon and expect you to be ok XD

Male GP are ok to be alone. They might fight with other male if you introduce them when they are old, although still can be done. Females should have a friend though.

6 months is like teenager for us take your time hitz.. no rush.. remember ya your blackie is male, if you get female... if they really get along.. that female will be the partner till they die.. and they will mate when in heat.. Production of GPs are very2 fast.. so need to reconsider whether u wanna get a male or female. Its not necessary to get the same age. Lets say you wanna get a male companion you can try to get a younger GP. Coz GPs they will look at each other in terms of age.. more like respect like that.. My 2 girls are totally different age

my Huahua refuse to use water bottle b3fore, what I do just take the bottle and put near to her mouth everytime I pass her cage, after several times she will know how to drink it

I think it's neaRLy a week at uR pLace aLready.. u can staRt bonding with him moRe so that he wiLL get used to u.. constant bonding for onLy a week.. can make alot of diffeRence..

Just fiLL up the bottLe up fuLL & leave it for a whoLe day.. come back LateR & checK if the wateR Level has decReased...
The moRe u try to foRce him.. the moRe he wiLL be annoyed i think...
When he is thiRsty.. he shouLd automaticaLLy know how to dRink.. ^^~

Huhuhuh~ i already told you the other day to take out the water bowl you dont have to worry.. coz we want to teach him to use the water bottle.. if he is thirsty.. he will sure drink one

You try in this way...remove water bowl and leave water bottle in cage. Then after half a day check and see he drank or not, if not, then hold water bottle in your hand and squeeze it a bit, let a bit of water come out, while in front of the Guinea Pig. He will sure start to drink from the bottle since he is thristy. After that I think he will know how to drink himself from the bottle. Sometimes need to teach them how to use bottle, hehe.

Has everyone experienced urs GP dont eat Hagen pallet.coz my gp dont eat that..they only attracted to the japan brand pallet that i bought previously. that is baby pallet name Mixter for guinea pig. has anyone use tat brand food before?

My blackie eat Hagen pellet wor, as the previous owner told me that he only like this pellet..
So i also buy hagen pellet for him to eat.. So far ok wor..

Also hor, is it normal that GP drop their fur? I notice my cage got blackie fur everywhere wor... 
Hope is normal..
